You're supposed to wait a month for the next treatment! Do I need to wait until the 20th of September or could I give it to them this week because they started itching again and I wonder if they still have any???

Do not give the revolution again until the 20 of september. If its ear mites, the eggs have probably hatched and are biting again---which will result in their death. The mites have to go through a couple of "cycles" before the revolution will kill all of them. When my cat gets fleas it takes about a month for them to be gone for good. Sometimes they will starting itching again, but I know that once they bite, their goners.

Also, your cat might be allergic to the revolution and that could be why they are showing symptoms of ear mites. I would take him to the vet if you aren't sure.

Just wait until the 20th of September. It you give them the next dose too soon, you run the risk of making them sick. If they are scratching now, they are probably having a bit of dry skin. I use Revolution on my cat and I know that it work very well. :D

Yeah you are able to constantly pay the vet's place of work to do it. Wrapping in a towel should additionally artwork nevertheless, in case you do it wisely. I incredibly have one tremendously feisty cat, right here is how I do it for drugs time- -go with an previous towel. the best type may well be a huge length produced from skinny fabric. It must be a minimum of long sufficient to wrap around the cat 2 or thrice. -place the cat on the towel, a splash off-middle the good way, together with her head close to the long fringe of the towel. in case you are able to lay her on her side together with her head putting off the sting, it particularly is much extra effective. -Fold the shorter fringe of the towel over the cat purely as quickly as. Then deliver the backside up over her decrease back ft. -confirm her front legs are pointed down in direction of her tail, then fold the different fringe of the towel each and each of how over her. Pull it TIGHT, and proceed to wrap it round her as many cases as you are able to, conserving it taut with each and every wrap around. - you may desire to finally end up with a "kitty burrito" with purely her head protruding. it may well be held too tight for her to enhance her front legs - if she gets a paw out the actual, you probably did it incorrect. be conscious there is countless better padding for her decrease back ft too, those are risky :) -Now purely kneel on the floor and placed your kittyrito between your legs. shop it tight! in case you're on my own you are able to hold it taut at the same time with your legs while you employ 2 palms to place drops in the ear. you are going to be able to desire to might desire to pin her head against the floor to maintain her from shaking her head in each and every single place. this methodology makes kitty even madder than the ear drops on my own, even though it does ward off injury to you. seize her by ability of ask your self while it's time to try this, she'll study particularly rapidly what it ability if she sees you unfold a towel on the floor, or in case you come at her with the drops on your hand lol

Please phone a vet and ask! How do you know it's ear mites? If a vet didn't diagnose it, you don't know for sure - and if they did, they should've told you when you can reapply the treatment. Either way - ask a vet, don't trust medical advice from Yahoo.

I would not recommend giving it to them again. The instructions say wait a month. That is what you should do.
