I'm worried it means he is anaemic. What do you think?

He's a 7 month old neutered tabby boy. He seems OK otherwise. Still eating like a blooming hoover on 4 legs.

Our cat has a pink nose that is sometimes very pale. I've noticed that when she's been running around with our other cat, or when she's hot, her nose is a brighter pink. When she's resting or it's cooler weather, her nose is pale. It may well have something to do with blood flow, pretty much in the same way that people get red in the face when they're feeling hot or after excercise.

I agree with the other person, that a phone call to a vet's office would help set your mind at rest. If they think it warrants a check up for your cat they will tell you to bring him in.

I'm sure he will be fine, try not to worry too much till you've spoken to a vet.

We had a cat whose nose used to go quite pale at times for no apparent reason. He normally had a lovely pink nose so it was a bit odd at first to see it looking so pale but it seemed to just be what his nose did and 'normal service' was always resumed!

The fact your kitten's got a good appetite sounds positive but you sound as if you could do with being reassured by someone like a vet or a veterinary nurse. They'd probably be quite happy to talk to you over the 'phone and would ask what they needed to in order to establish whether he needed to be seen by them or not.
He sounds lovely, btw and I hope he's ok and that you have a very happy life together!

Something is really wrong. Vet's do look for white gums and their facial features to turn white normally right before animals die. I don't mean to scare you, I just want you to know that you need to get him there ASAP. I doubt it's anything little, there might be something really wrong. And have you checked to make sure he's been using the bathroom lately? I mean peeing, not pooping. Most common in male cats is a urinary tract infection, most of the time, the owner doesn't even realize their poor kitty has it.But yeah, get to the vet.

Hi, It could mean that your kitty is ill, have a look at your cat's gums if they look pale, vet's look for this to see if the animal is ill. i would take him to the vet's also if his nose does not turn back to pink i would take him.

I definitely think your kitty has a problem - which leads to the standard - take your kitty to the vet, in this case, as soon as possible. Good luck
