no im sorry . if you hunt animials in the woods you are a redneck. no if ands or buts about it. if anyone thinks any differently.. you are an idiot.. only one step above a redneck.

How can you even compare the two?
First off, there are lots of hunters in all classes of society, so stop the "redneck" calling. You're generalizing and that's closed minded.
Secondly, the majority of hunters will hunt for food AND trophies with a lot of the trophy hunters donating the meat if they do not care to use it themselves.
Animals like deer would be in serious trouble without hunting.
They would have a hard time finding suitable living space and food and there would be a whole lot more laying on the side of the road. Herd control is essential.
Dogs are pet animals and a lot of people get very emotional when it comes to pets. What Vick did was wrong and nasty and he's going to get what he has coming to him.
I am not condoning dog fighting or the training of fighting dogs, but I WOULD love to meet the trainer who taught Mr. Vick's co-defendants to ROLL OVER!
PS: The majority of hunters attempt to use humane ways of killing the animals they hunt. They don't throw them on the floor, douse them in a bucket of water or electrocute them.
We don't hunt out of revenge for a bad performance either and most of us respect the game we hunt.
I, for one, would never take a shot I wouldn't think I could certainly make.

There is a big difference between hunting and dog fighting. Hunting pits the ineffective senses and adaptability of human intelligence against those of an animal's in its natural environment. Ask any serious hunter; the quarry definitely has the advantage, and therefore a more than fair shot of escape, which is why hunting is classified as a sport. Most hunters also make full use of the carcasses. Lastly, under ideal circumstances, the animal does not suffer any more than what is necessary to kill it, although one could argue the cruelty of being shot multiple times due to poor aim. On the other hand, dog fighting forces animals to brutalize each other in a completely unnatural manner strictly for the financial benefit of the owner. The most vicious natural dog fights are usually over dominance and are much shorter and far less brutal than than those in the ring. Cock fighting, dog fighting, camel (yes, camel!) fighting all exist to satisfy sadistic human urges, whereas hunting challenges a human to become more in tune
with nature, while providing sustenance.

Because its the way society works... Deal with it... And how come you assume that only REDNECKS kill deer and rabbit, etc? Rednecks are not the only people who hunt, don't put hunters into one category. Besides, when Michael Vick killed the dogs, did he plan on eating them? I don't think so... People who hunt usually end up eating what they kill. Its called population control of wild animals.

well because as you call them "rednecks" eat what the kill and have respect for the animals, they do not watch them fight and bet on it and they don't kill them for a bad performance and they don't kill more than they need too. And we aren't all rednecks.

hes not just killing the animal hes abusiving this animal and letting them suffer that is what hes done. hes not sorry or anythign and its abuse and very bad. when you are hunting and have license that is very different you kill it to eat them but this is not for that purpose. the animsla all suffer very badly.

IT'S SIMPLE...........this country was founded and based upon B.S---! i bet if that was elvis fat a-- or britny spears it would be all good. why do they allow you to go to another country and kill,but when you get back here and get pulled over for doing nothing they try to hang you or put a brother in prison! bush is worst than bin laden! what about fox huntin,or fishin,or the rodeo thing?why they sweating janet jackson boob but britneyCan look like trailorTrashHizO AND ITS OK?
