The most common gestation period of cats will last between 63 and 67 days but variations up to 71 have been noted. This is nothing to be alarmed about but it might be good to pay extra attention to the cat's behavior. The first unmistakable sign of prgnancy occurs about three weeks after mating. The nipples become quite pink and the surrounding hair recedes slightly. The kittens will grow from the size of hazelnuts to a body length of some 12 cm (5in) and a weight of 100 g (3 1/2 oz). The queen herself will usually put on one to 1 1/2 kg (2 to 3 lb). The exact amount will vary according to breed and the number of kittens she is carrying. Movements should be possible to feel from the seventh week.

Um...you gonna believe the person who let their cat get pregnant 6 times before getting it fixed? 45 days is about when the skeleton starts to form and the kittens can be seen with radiography.

Gestation is about 62-65 days. All estimates in this range are correct. It varies just like people.

I agree that if you think she is pregnant, get her spayed.

A cats gestation period is about 45 days... take it from someone who's cat was pregnant 6 times before I could get her fixed... and by the way.... I found good homes for all her babies!

It is about 9 wks. As she gets further along, she can get really lg. & her belly looks almost square. If you don't want kittens, get her spayed. It costs extra if she is already pregnant or in heat.
