It might be luck of the draw. Try to get a frisky, no-fear kitten. Get a kitten from a no-kill shelter. Often, they'll let you have a trial run with a cat and if it doesn't work out, you can return it. I'd give it a week or so. Who knows? They might end up being good buddies... but definitely go for a no-fear kitten.

Labradoodles are big, strong, hyper, and stubborn. I do not think a cat would be safe or comfortable with that kind of dog around. They also don't like loud, sharp noises, so your poodle would hurt it's ears. I think you should stick to your dogs and leave cats in the nice, quiet, calm environments they prefer.

Why introduce a cat into this mix if there's already two rowdy dogs? They sound like a handful already and the cat certanly won't like dealing with canines.

your cat will take one good swipe and nail the dog in the nose with his claws, and that will be the end of any dog/cat issues. From then on, they'll probably ignore each other.

I think if you carefully introduced the cat and the dogs, they could become friends.

maybe you should make it a bed in your room and not let your dogs in there from now
