she is a pomeranian of 9 months old. she won't eat her food, she sleeps most of the time, she smells, she just got her period, and she's just not that playful and hyper as she was. is something wrong? is she sad or depressed? is she sick?

my rottweiler has a large lump on her back between her shoulder blades,due to her being 9yrs old i thought that as it does not hurt i won't take her to vets incase they give me bad news. But the other day she was rolling about on her back and it popped,a lot of thick goo came out and i cleaned it with salt water but when you look closely at it you can see in side and its fleshey . Even knows the lump has emptyed alot there is still quite a lump underneath. Does anyone no what this could be?She has another ball like lump on her leg but thats never popped...By the way she does not seem in any pain as shes still rolling about and playing... these teeth are so cool especially the ones that are like 6 inches and i found some for like a couple hundred to a thousand dolars and i also found some on ebay for like ten dollars that were big so i was wondering what is a good price for these because i dont want to be a sucker and fall for the first website i see that charges 3000 dollars when i could have gotten virtually the same thing but for like 200 or something like that so i was wondering where i can get the cheapest but still quality and whole megalodon teeth at because i think it would be awesome to have one of those beautiful things sharks are like the coolest animals in the world to me exept lions. thank you in advance for your helps.

We have a 2 1/2 year old English Mastiff. For the last 2 days he is acting like he doesn't know who we are. He doesnt come to us when called. And stays far away. He just stands back and looks. He will run up for just a second, like he remembers for just a moment and then runs away again. He will eat and drink though. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Ok I was going on the AKC website and they had a photo Contest that I was dying to enter Chocolate(my mixed breed dog) in. I read the terms and conditions and it said only purebreds were allowed to enter. Seriously there suposse to base it on how cute and adorable your dog is not if your dog has some fancy champion bloodline...god what snobs they are..

My puppy is...well very "hyper" she barks at other dogs and just doesnt know how to play nice, i was wondering if maybe and older adult dog would keep her in check, put her in her place a bit so when we go out she isnt haveing a complete meltdown everytime she sees a dog.

So i received a (used) air pump with air stone, rinsed it, and put it in the tank.

My problem is, the stone isn't weighted, so it keeps floating up to the surface. i've tried to weigh it with gravel, plants, and an ornament i have in there, but it wont stay down.

I dont have any large ornaments yet, so nothing is heavy enough to weigh it down.

Was there suction cups or something that was supposed to come with it? Are they available for purchase separately?

Any suggestions for the meantime? Should i just take it out?

Heres the story. I have a 29 gallon fish tank with 8 - 1 inch tetras, two small angelfish ( 1-1.5 inches each), 2 small (1.5 inch rams) and two barbs ( 2 inch). so total is about 18 inches or so. I am planning on upgrading to a bigger tank eventually so i figured that since i still had about 11 inches of space left, i bought 2 -3inch clown loaches. Before i did this, i asked 3 peple from 3 different sources and they all said it wolud be fine so i did it.
- Since i did the tank cycle process for the chemical stuff when i set up my tank, I have been doing regular water changes every week and doing everything properly for about 5 months now. - I have never had any chemical problems such as ammonia nitrate or nitrite. ever.
Problem. One week after i bought the loaches, my ammonia shot up and has ben really high for about 4 days now, so i have been changing 10% of the water daily. Tonight, i changed the water again and still high ammonia.

he loved to be touched, he would kneed his little pillow lift his head up and try to make a tiny meow sound ....my heart broke....very sad....can he do ok around the house? i have a female calico that i think would look out for him what do you think???

Our previous rescue dog was older and if not used to being moved around, sadly accustomed to it.

This puppy is a sweet 10 week old lab mix. I'm worried about her being sad and confused and upset by all the changes. First she will leave her foster mum. Then she will fly to us (about 600 miles) with a friend, then finallly end up in our house.

We have all the neccesary pieces, leashes, beds, food bowls and all. But how can we make it easier for her? I'm worried that because she is a puppy it will be a lot scarier for her.

I've been setting up my first saltwater aquarium for hours now. I have the temp right and the salinity right now im adding sand. I am getting so tired of rinsing the substrate in saltwater. Im aware that it is going to cloud the water bad, but is it really necessary to rinse the sand off before putting it in the aquarium?

I have a 5 month old chihuahua who is SO sweet. He is a great dog on so many levels, except that he is insanely hyper and energetic it is driving me crazy (and it's not just bc he is a puppy- many chi owners have commented on how crazy he is!). I love having my dog and I give him as much as I possibly can, but I am worried that we just don't match personality wise. I constantly think that he would be happier with a family or someone who wants a dog to be jumping around and playing 24/7.... I am very torn bc I don't want to give him up, yet I get very frustrated with him. Is it possible that he has dog ADD?? Does that even exist? I would like some advice on what I should or could do about this. And please don't write saying I am a horrible person for even thinking about giving him up, bc if I did, and I'm not saying that I will, I would find him the best home possible. Thanks

I am getting a Weimaraner puppy first thing tomorrow morning. I was thinking of naming him Titanium and Ty for short. Any name suggestions? Any toy or product suggestions? Any other personal opinions on raising a pup? He is a male puppy and he will be neutered as soon as the vet will neuter him. We have a 1 1/2 year-old female German Shepherd. She is also neutered.

It doesn't make sense to me that after a dog has had a litter of mutts she can no longer be mated to a purebred dog of her breed and produce purebreeds. Can someone explain this to me?
