It's normal teething/chewing behavior for a puppy. Your best bet is to direct the chewing to chew toys/proper chew bones. That will teach the pup he is allowed to chew those things and not everything else you own or anything he can get into. Most pups grow out of chewing, some dogs continue to chew all their life, some only do if they are bored. You won't know till he grows up more. But giving him specific items to chew now will help to keep him from chewing the wrong things later on.

All puppies bite with their sharp little teeth. It bothers them if they can't use their teeth. Muy Lab is six months old and still chews on things but not with the same frenzy as she did when we first got her.
Eventually my dog stopped, but she chewed things for a couple of years. Give her things that are "ok" for her to chew so that she can be occupied with that instead of the shoes or your furniture.
The thing that was a lifesaver for me was a hard hollow rubber toy called a "Kong"; large pet stores carry them. It's rubber but very sturdy so the dog won't rip it to shreads. Put peanut butter in the hollow space (dogs love PB) and give it to her. It's the best pacifier I've found.
Shepherds are gorgeous dogs - good luck with yours! Make sure you keep yours busy, because they always have to have something to do!

Oh, yes normal teething behavior. Make sure you have lots of toys and chew toys available. There are some that you can actually put in the freezer, and the cold sensation will help with the pain of the adult teeth coming in.
I know a couple of people who will freeze a clean facecloth with a knot in it, and their pup(s) will happily chew away on that.
We still own tables with puppy teeth chew marks in the legs from our Lab cross when she was a pup.....
Bet your Shepherd is a cutie, they are great dogs.

Yes it's very normal for puppies to chew on EVERYTHING!! I also have a German Shepherd and he chewed on everything from shoes to cameras. He finally stopped when he was a little over 1. They have teething chew toys for dogs, my advice is to get her one.

it is completely normal for a puppy to still be chewing on things when it's 2 months old. The puppy might still be teething wihtout you knowing it. give the dog some time and if it's still chewing when it's around 9 months old start taking it to a dog obedience class. or just try to train it yourself.

German Sheppard's can chew till they are about 18 months of age they are slow to mature and they get bored easily.Get a toy like a kong which is hard rubber and it helps them cut their teeth. Also give your pup dog chews again to help the teeth come through...They will eventually stop when they mature.Dog training and socialization are imperative..

Its teething and chewing helps the process. Give her things to chew on and when she goes to chew on something she shouldn't, correct her immediately. Should be fine in a month or two. Have patience

VERY normal.. And once she gets her baby teeth all in and they are nice and sharp and she knows how to use them well.. She'll start to teeth approx 14-16 weeks and will chew and bite even more.. Lots of good chewy toys, raw carrots, frozen green beans etc.. Will help to keep her busy.

Very normal. I try to make sure my dogs have alot of toys of their own, and hopefully they will not chew on my things. I have had good luck with my 4. Watch them, and if they start to chew on something you don't want them to, be sure to stop them right away. A "NO" will start training them. Keep this up, and they will learn. Good Luck.
