I am getting a Weimaraner puppy first thing tomorrow morning. I was thinking of naming him Titanium and Ty for short. Any name suggestions? Any toy or product suggestions? Any other personal opinions on raising a pup? He is a male puppy and he will be neutered as soon as the vet will neuter him. We have a 1 1/2 year-old female German Shepherd. She is also neutered.

I like Ty, and Titanium has a nice ring.

How about Bullet? You could have his AKC registered name be Silver Bullet.

A puppy most needs chew toys--such as Kongs. I suggest you don't get too many of any type of toy too soon. Maybe one of each (squeaky toy, plush toy, etc.), though you should probably get a few chewing toys. That way you can see what kind of toys he prefers as well as how strong of a chewer/toy destroyer he is.

That way you won't waste money on toys he doesn't like or might choke on and can focus on the toys that he does really like.

depending on how puppy puppy his age is... get some good strong chew toys. good bones- like nylabones.

Ok, my male puppy got spayed, but he still humps things for territory reasons. You may want to see how he behaves with other dogs before getting him. Maybe name him Jaques or Yves (eeeves)?
