Put down a fresh bowl of water, show it to the kitten, and see if the kitten will lap it up. If so, then yes, if not, no. Like people have said, do not give your cat milk. Causes diarrhea and digestive problems.

They should be feed by the mother until at least 6 weeks of age. You can try giving water, but they may not be ready yet. Never give cow's milk to kittens or adult cats..they are usually lactose intolerant and the milk will make them sick, or get diarrhea. If you are feeding these kittens without a mother cat present, go to the pet store and pick up some KMR (kitten milk replacement) and feed this until they are weaned.

Do not give it milk, milk can cause diarrhea... If you want to try to give them something nutritious then give them kitten formula. At four weeks they should still be nursing. You can start giving them a little bit of kitten food, or soft canned food like Friskies.

A little water is probably fine. However, do NOT give cow's milk. Cow's milk will give your kittens diarrhea. Mamma's milk is still best for them at this young age.

If you get the baby bottles and formula from petco or any pet store or even your vets office....you can bottle feed the kittens. We have done this four times and all kittens turned into beautiful and affectionate cats.
Good luck & enjoy your kittens.
Have a wonderful weekend. Patti

Water yes, milk never. Cats can not digest milk. At four weeks you have another month that they should be nursing from their mother.
