I introduced 3 new fish into my tank today, and the other fish (4 others total) are doing fine.

However, when I put the Silver Dollar in, he floated around the center of the tank for a minute, then floated over to the corner.
He is leaning on the corner between a plant and the wall.

He was very nervous when I was floating the bag, and would flutter a LOT every time I walked by.

What's going on?

I noticed today that I have these tiny white spots all over my aquarium, but its not outside because the water is moving them. They seem like they're "attached" to the walls of my aquarium. I have 2 dwarf gouarmis, 2 neon tetras, and 3 cory cats. Its not a cloud in my aquarium, they're just tiny white spots all over the walls. If any additional information is needed to help answer my question, please let me know what I can list for you. Thanks to all that answer!

Whenever my cat meows someone else in the family will meow back to it and the cat will meow as if he's replying and they'll do this for a couple of minutes... why does the cat do this? (don't ask why my family meows... they're just very weird/cool people)

I have two ferrets, Munchkin and Squidgy. (don't laugh)
All but one of my friends hate them, they won't even touch them!
My friend that does like them used to use them for hunting! =/

I need to treat my 55 gallon for ich. I have very healthy thriving fish but am worried about how they will tolerate treatment. I'm especially concerned about my baby mollies ( a few weeks old) tetras (someone told me they don't tolerate ich medication) & my catfish. Will these fish be adversely affected?

I have a 2 year old Scottish Deerhound mix and he has a swollen stomach; and i felt his tummy and it felt very hard; like it wasn't moving when he breathed. he isn't breathing really hard or anything because of it, though. he's acting completely normal. could it be a type of worm in his stomach? or is he just bloated?

Hey, everybody. As I said before, that I'll be getting a pomeranian puppy somewhat in August, my dad's friend's dog will be having puppies pretty soon. Today, at work, my dad gave my mom and I a message that the pregnant dog is licking her stomach lately. I think that this is a sign that she's going to have her puppies real soon, but I'm not 100% sure about this. I don't know if this could be a different reason, but this is what I predict could be the reason. Does anyone else out there have different ideas or suggestions? Thanks! :)

I have just adopted a 51/2 month old Black Great Dane Puppy. We have fallen so in love with her. I have some concerns though. She seems very timid and am not sure if she is just having separation anxiety. She often stays in a corner and watches us at all times. We have had her a week and she has made some improvements. But, we all have to make the effort and get on the floor with her and put her on our laps. She shakes at first and then calms down. Is this normal? Could this simply be separation anxiety from being with the breeder for 5 1/2 months? I am concerned but would never think of parting with her. What do I have to do to make her feel safe? Tinker Bell has our hearts!!

Also, I am trying to find a cage? I can only find the largest size of 48". She is already 60# and I don't think as an adult that would be large enough.

All inquiries are appreciated. There is nothing we won't do for our Tinker Bell.

I have heard that dogs are color blind. does that mean they see black and white, or is it like human color blindness where they blend two colors into one? How do we know they are color blind? they certainly can't tell us!

I currently own a male betta fish. He lives in a tank with a snail. I had another snail but it recently died. I love having fish and recently a friend of mine got two female bettas. They live together and as far as I know still live together in the same tank. Can I get two females and let them live with my male without fighting?

I have had him for a day and just tonight I was noticing that there are a ton of little bubbles up along the top of the water by the sides of the tank. Is this a territory thing or is he scared? He is the only one in the tank.

Ok with a simple answer as go to the vet, one work. I do Have a vet appointment at the end of the week. SO my dog had diarrhea and we believe its from the rawhide that we gave him for at least 3 days in a row. So he had it for 3 days, I was worried, I followed what most people day, which was give him 1 tsp for every 5 lbs of peptol bismol, and so now he no longer has it, well he hasn't used the bathroom since I gave it to him... I think it could also be stress, my entire apt is packed up, we're moving and he knows it so i think it could be one of the reasons. please help me, I want to know wll his constipation ever end???

The lump is about the size of a golf ball and located under his eye on the right side of his face. When I touch it he doesn't react as if it hurts him. It's also about as hard as a rock.

I have had Tweaky for awhile. All he has been fed are mealworms and crickets (thats what the pet store said to feed him). Whatelse can I feed him, and how many times during the week should he eat? He is full grown, but his tail isn't very fat. He is somewhat malnourished, and the store we got him from wasn't very helpful about what he should eat. He is mildly crippled from the incubation tempurature, so his hunting skills aren't all that great. :( I just want him to be as healthy and live the best natural life possible. He is about 2 1/2 years old now.

My ferret does not seem his happy self lately. I have a vet appointment for him. Although i really do not thing he is sick. I give him amble time to play. Originally i let him play with my cats as playmates. I felt that he was becoming depressed or lonely though so i got him another ferret friend. He doesn't evenbother with the new ferret. Who is very playful. Could this just be my ferrets personaility? he used to play. what can i do to make him happier??

How do I keep my five month old poodle from running everytime the door opens? We take him by the collar to his tie-out but if he gets past you he'll run out the door. If he get's out he runs everywhere in the yard and makes a game of running circles around you and barking. He let's you get within arms length then runs away. How do we teach him not to do this?

Screwed up on this the first time.

My fish was a sapphire blue, but now it's a light purple.

And earlier the skin around its head flared out like a maine on a lion, are they suppose to do that?

And also it was swimming all crazy around the tank like it was scared.
