If there is no expiration date on the package, there is a production code. I would suggest contacting the company at customercare@omegasea.net and ask them how long they suggest until it expires and ask when yours was made. They may be willing to tell you how to determine date of manufacture from the code.

Once the package is opened, I wouldn't go much beyond a year or 18 months in a humid environment. If you live in a VERY dry place like Arizona or Las Vegas, then you might be able to stretch that to 2 years.
