I noticed today that I have these tiny white spots all over my aquarium, but its not outside because the water is moving them. They seem like they're "attached" to the walls of my aquarium. I have 2 dwarf gouarmis, 2 neon tetras, and 3 cory cats. Its not a cloud in my aquarium, they're just tiny white spots all over the walls. If any additional information is needed to help answer my question, please let me know what I can list for you. Thanks to all that answer!

My last water change was last monday and its definatly not water bubbles because they don't look like bubbles, but more like white spots.

Do the spots seem to move about on there own? As in swimming about the tank at all? If so you have a copapod infestation of some sort. Since they are not on the fish, it's safe to assume they are not parasites and will not harm the fish. Coppersafe or a parasite medication such as Clout will kill them though.

While MM is correct in his advice, I'd want to make sure it is not something harmless before you start throwing chemicals at it.

I would like to ask a few questions to help rule out air bubbles.

Have you just recently performed a water change?
Have you recently cleaned any filter media?
Is there a lot of surface agitation where the filter outlet meets the water?
Have you just recently introduced an airstone?

Not bubbles, ok. I had to ask, I'm sure you understand.

Check out this site concerning Fresh Water Hydra. This could be what you are seeing.

It is just small colonies of algae. I get the same thing, especially near the output of the filter. Just wipe them off every time you do water changes. They are harmless to the fish and you can't really see them unless you look for them. They should go away soon all on their own.
