Whhat are some good aqautic fish and species for a 10 gallon. I do not want platies,mollies,guppies,neons,bettas, or cory cats definiately not snails either. I do know how to take care of fish, I have a 30 gallon, but I want some different fish for the 10g. The tank has a heater, filter, airbubbler, two small hideouts, dark gravel, and 3 plants. Any Suggestions???

ok so i still want a rabbit and thanks to all of u who answered!!!!!! but one more thing....my mom's like one thing i don't like about rabbits is they use a litter box and they smell!! so does anyone know a good place that you put litter boxes or a good product to use to cover the smell?? i mean sure all the commercials say "this one works" but do they really!?? which one?! where do you put your litter boxes for your pets? thanks!!!

I t has been 4 days since in got my ferret Sayde, and at first she was not vey playfull, and probaly not very comfortable. Now I call her by her name and she jumps on the side of her cage, because she knows that it it play time. I have bought her all kinds of toys and treats. She jumps around and falls on her back. She is so funny. Thank all of you for answering myy questions. They all were very helpful.

Just moved into apt. at night onto the window cill and makes so much noise. He's like 13 lbs so he really is loud when he jumps off onto the carpet. I dont want to be mean and like lock him in the bathroom, but he does it every night I am loosing sleep! What can i do that wont cost me much or anything, and without being mean, cause i feel bad enough he has always lived in houses up until now, and he's three so I think he is annoyed.

My 6 month old girl chihuahua has been throwing a fit lately. She was very curious when I was setting up the crib early on this week. I'm expected to be due by this saturday, do you think that dogs know? I'm just referring to the "Lady & Tramp" movie, do you think it's true? Please share.

My mom recently bought this food and fed it to her Shih Tzu dogs yesterday..This morning she found the oldest dog (who possibly has breast cancer) is about 12-13 yrs old shaking and could not hold up her head or walk.. and the younger dog who is about 9- 10 yrs old tried to walk and fell on her face 2 times..The younger one is doing better, but the older one unfortunately, is not..I know that it is probably something to do with the lumps in her breasts, but my mom thinks that it is something in the food..She has always fed them Kibbles n Bits, but not with breath bites...Just wondering if anyone could help?

Is it ok? would my puppy get sick if I give it Human Food? Would it Die? I know it's not THAT ok but is it as bad as some people make it to be, or thier just saying don't give it becuase of manners or really just for my puppies health?

i'm planning on buying a ryukin goldfish. But i'm not sure what size tank/bowl i should buy for it. Also i would like to know how often i would need to clean the bowl/change the water. Also would i have to get a pump (one of thoses things that pump air into the tank), i'm going to keep it in my room, and that would be too noisy, are there any alternatives? Thanks

I bought two of these fish at the same time from the same pet shop about a year ago now. One is still black and the other has turned orange with black tail and dorsal stripe and along the top of its eyes. Some one please tell me what's going on?

We are going to be getting medicine for him but was wondering if anyone had any natural cures that could help him out. We are going to start feeding him apple cider vinegar, possibly pumpkin seeds. Any other anyone knows? We did a blood & an urine test, it is not in his Kidneys. He is not on a high protien diet, he is on pasture grass (has been for 4 years).

I have a malawi cichlid tank. THe ph is only 7.2+ Want to raise the ph.Have added coral today. Want to know how much baking soda to add /10 gallons (is a 75 gal tank) to raise the ph to 7.6. I have new fish to put in. The pet store water is at 7.8 Used to have a cichlid tank, but it has been a while. The tank is well cycled since it has been running for a long time, empty.. has been running this time for a couple of months. I already add cichlid salt.

Why when I go to dog parks with my 9 month lab who is nutered, other dogs try to hump him. He is very sweet and will not snap or growl when dogs try to do this to him so I think they know he is passive. Is it because he is nutered?
