Only if raised together, and even then they might get aggressive

I wouldn't reccomend it, they are pretty territorial

If they are young (i.e. litter mates), they should live quite happily together but should be neutered when they get older to prevent fighting.

Pairing is more difficult and a male/male is the hardest combination to because they might fight, but it's not impossible to do. Start by having both rabbits neutered and make sure you introduce them properly. I.e. house them in cages next to each other (but no so close that they can bite), then start switching cages, then introduce them in neutral territory and when you're happy that they're getting on ok (and grooming each other), house them together. That's briefly how it's done but there is alot more to it and it can take up to a month to get them paired. You will also need at least double the space for a second rabbit.

I would give it a go and try to pair them as rabbits are much happier with a bunny friend than they are living solitary.

If it's been 4 months since they're been neutered then you can bond them slowly. Make them meet where both of them has never been (bathroom? kitchen? certain bedroom? hallway? ... etc) ... But be sure to rabbit proof that room first. If the first meeting goes well then make them meet again for longer this time and then keep doing this daily. After they get along so well that they lick and run around together then you can make them meet somewhere else and see if this behavior changes or not. If it does than change back to the first place if not then carry on making them meet. After a couple more days put them both in the smae hutch and see what happens.

Absolutely you can have two males together and they don't have to have been raised together.

However, as others have mentioned, you will have a much better chance of success if both males are neutered. And, most importantly, recognize that it may take a lot of time and patience. You can't just throw two neutered males together and expect them to get along. You need to introduce them to each other slowly and gradually build up how much time they spend with each other. You also need to expect that there will be some fighting at first, but over time, a friendship can grow. You will likely be more successful if you introduce the two males in neutral territory that neither one of them has yet claimed as theirs.

You may also have more success if you put them in a slightly stressful situation, so that they can both comfort each other. One of the most popular methods of bonding two rabbits that rabbit rehabilitators use is taking them for car rides together. The slight unsettling experience of being in the car makes the rabbits temporarily forget their differences and huddle together for comfort.

You can find a wealth of information about rabbit introductions on the House Rabbit Society website:

http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/introductions.html

You can also check the House Rabbit Society website for a list of local House Rabbit Society chapters and independent rabbit rescuers to see if there is one in your area. If so, they are usually more than happy to help you with your rabbit bonding questions. (They would much rather help the public get their rabbits to get along than see a rabbit dumped at a shelter or worse because the rabbits couldn't get along!) Some rescuers are even willing to let you leave your rabbits with them for a week or so, and they will work on getting them to get along for you, to get you past the fighting stage.

Good luck!

It is supposed to help if both are neutered. You're also supposed to introduce them in a neutral area, like a bathtub, rather than putting one in the other's cage. However, my two males always fight, no matter what I do. I've given up trying to bond them.

in most situations no!
they tend to fight over which one will be the alfa male, but if they were raised together at a young age maybe.

Most of the time they will fight until death. If they are in 1 cage and a female in a cage next to them comes in heat "LOOK OUT".
