We are going to be getting medicine for him but was wondering if anyone had any natural cures that could help him out. We are going to start feeding him apple cider vinegar, possibly pumpkin seeds. Any other anyone knows? We did a blood & an urine test, it is not in his Kidneys. He is not on a high protien diet, he is on pasture grass (has been for 4 years).

Ascorbic acid, the cheap form of Vitamin C. I can only guess at the dosage to use for a horse, but I'd say about 1 gram (1,000 mg) per 30 pounds of weight, more or less, for 3-5 days. I base this on what I've known to work in humans.
This works by acidifying the urine, thus creating an inhospitable environment for the bacteria. You can give even more; if the horse develops loose stools, use less.

I am a certified herbalist and i will reassure you that there are lots of strong common therapies for UTI and Cranberry Juice is NOT one in all them. For UTI's I propose a tea created from nettles (Urticaria dioica). It is comfortably to be had from wellbeing meals stores and is available in equipped to make use of tea luggage. Sweetened with slightly honey this is a such a lot pallatable drink and does the process really properly. Nettle tea is a diuretic (Increases urine out positioned) and so I propose that you just drink plenty extra water while taking nettle tea. a day-to-day dose of one million-three cups in step with day of nettle tea PLUS two litres of water at least and your UTI will quickly be long gone.
