Flip the rabbit over, and put your hands on the private area. you should be able to feel two sacks, one on either side of the privates.
If youopen the area up by pushing back with your thumb and pointer finer ( in opposite directions) the end of a penis should come out. In thias case it is a male (or buck).

If you do niot find sacks, it is posible it is a female (or a doe). If when you push you see a round opening, like a v type of shape, then it is indeed a doe.

This should tell you, but if they are very young it may be hard to tell since the males penis/ testicales has not yet desended. In that kind of a case there is a way to tell, but it is very hard to do, and even experience breeders like myself mess that one up, so in your case, I would just wait till it is easier to tell.

Hope that helps!

ok grab the skin on the neck of the rabbit like a mother cat picks up its kitten and then flip him softly on his back inbetween ur knees and then press on his belly above his private area and if a lump or u no penis comes out then its a boy if not then its a girl or u can just flip it over and check on the side of his private area and look for sacks that would also show show hes a boy but the sacks might have not desended yet.

when they get to a certain age (usually 6 months) thats when you can tell by looking at their private areas, if a male then you should see male parts pretty clearly, and if you dont see it then its most likely a female. also males tend to pee or squirt outside the cage alot.

this can be tricky if you don't know what to look for.
grab him firmly by the back of the neck and turn him over on his back reach between his legs and pull the skin tight. if it is a girl there will be two openings , her rectum and vagina. if it is a boy it will only have a rectum. there may or may not be a visible penis, most animals can draw this into their bodies, and you may or may not see it.
look for the vaginal opening instead , it will either be prominent or nonexistent.
hope this helps.

on a male it is easy when he is about 5 months you will start to see somewhat large testicals. and a female with ovisly not have them, on a young rabbit it is though to explain. but wait until the rabbit is older.

Check the rump. If he is male, you should be able to find two testicles and the base of the penis.
