I have a problem. I REALLY want a dog. I mean i am really hook on dogs. I got 1 problem. My dad. He is afraid. I found a 22cm dog. Al he says is No No i am not getting a dog thats it. It would be 10 to 11 years till i move out.so i cant get a dog till then i dont wanna wait that long PLEASE HELP!!!

My teddy bear hamster usually hangs out upstairs he is about a week old. He feels more secure upstairs (in his cage) so all of the sudden he starts sleeping on the floor and I can see him breathing really hard but I'm not sure if he did that before. What should I do?

My cat loved our Christmas tree; unfortunately, she stayed under it so much that her whiskers got all sticky from the sap. I've tried to clean them off, but they're all just stuck together. :(

My father past away yesterday afternoon and needless to say I have been very sad. But my cat and dog are now acting weird. The dog is hyper and unsettled and the cat who kind of keeps to himself now follows me around EVERYWHERE and sleeping on me and just will not leave my side. Are they just sensing the sadness ?

What kind of chew toy can I get him that won't break he is tearing up my rose bushes this beast I mean he ate it all the way down to almost the roots and he has food and space to run but he keeps tearing them up, I got several toys for him but it's never enough to occupy him for long and he starts attacking them again,oooh he gets on my nerves. Oh and do you know where I can find a good collar he keeps busting them on the leash cause they usually click with a plastic gadget that clicks it on I think I need metal clicky things.... I hope you can understand what I'm asking cause I ramble sometimes, ok Thanks

I have two betta fish, each living in a 2.5 gal tank. Each has a heater set at 78 degrees Fahrenheit, and no filter. I change the water and clean the tanks once a week. I bought these fish while I was living in the dorm. The tap water in the dorm had the perfect water parameters for my fish. However, I am now back at home, and I'm dealing with completely different water, which I'm having issues with. This is what I add to my water every time it's changed: Amquel+, NovAqua+, Proper pH 7.0, a small amount of aquarium salt (for disease prevention), and Melafix (for one of the fish, who has a tail biting habit, and is in the process of growing his tail back). And here are my current water parameters: Nitrate: 0 ppm, Nitrite: 0 ppm, GH: 0 ppm (too low! 75 ppm would be better), KH: 300 ppm (too high!), pH: 8.4 (also too high, due to the KH. I would prefer 7.0). So...how would I go about fixing this? Apparently the Proper pH 7.0 isn't working. So I need something else.

My daughter used to have 2 parakeets. But one died unexpectedly. And she got so upset and she wanted another bird before so she could train it to play with her. We didn't realize until we bought the birds that they will bond with eachother and not you.
IS there ANY way to train a bird that has no bond with you and so you can bond with eachother?

a friend of mine who asks me for advice, as she knows i hate giving advice if im not certain its right, but anyway, i am not particular about this one, she has a great dane male he lives indoors with her even sleeps on her bed she wants to know if when she brings her new bf over to stay the night will it make the dog jealous, should she still let the dog sleep on the bed as her and her bf will be sleeping together, and is it wrong to have sex in front of your dog, so far only advice i gave her is that her bf may have different ideas about staying if he finds out where the dogs sleeping. what can i say to her to help her dilemma, i dont particularly want to answer this one but shes a good friend thanks all
