I'm a beginner rider in english and an intermediate in western. i'm looking for a horse that is atleast 15hh and can jump. I would like to show, but all the horses I can find are either green or can't jump. I would prefer to adopt, but if necessary, I would buy. Does anyone have any websites or anything?

My dog is a 9 1/2 year old yorkie-poo who has been acting very odd since about 2 weeks ago. she will approach her food, walk away from it, and seems as though she is afraid of it. Same with her bones and toys. We took her to the vet and while she was in the cage at the she was acting like she used to be, perfectly normal. anytime she is in my house she acts very strange. We brought her for numerous tests at the vet, her blood work is perfectly fine and everything else is fine. the vet said she has behavioral problems. what could this be?

One afternoon at my folk's house we found two dogs in our backyard and was able to catch one but the second was scared off by our dog. The one that ran off had id tags on it and we haven't seen it since but the one we caught is a very cute dog which appears to be a terrier breed. My question is how can we find the rightful owners of this beautiful animal? We do not want to send her off to a animal shelter where she might not be claimed.

the bulge looks like a human beer belly, or like testicles look if they were inside. i noticed a while ago, and it doesnt feel hard, it's more muscle-y, like fat. could it just be that he's getting fat, but then again he's not growing out to the sides, the fat just hangs like a belly in the back legs area. i found him when he was 4 months old and took him to all his shots, the vet said to come back when he was 1, which is in february. he never gave any problems at the vet, not even a meow, and was negative for worms and everything else.i'm just worried because the "fat" is concentrated on the lower belly, but it's not a bump, just kind of flabby.

my puppies get overly exicted to meet people that come over. i have yet to teach them not to jump up on people. any ideas? besides yelling or spanking? ive tried the NO bit, the down, off, etc, commands and they just rnt working.

I am curious to know a little more about this breed. Temperment, are they ok being crate trained, good for owners who work during the day, but have a yard and energy to play in the evening? Also, are these dogs aggressive? Just some general info on a day in the life with a Boxer would be great.

Over the last year there have been countless reports of dogs attacking children. should all dogs have to be health checked before being allowed to live in a family home? Is the dangerous dogs act really enough? The latest incident with that poor little girl shouldn't have happened, and if there was more action taken, such as follow ups to the warning letters sent by the council, maybe that poor girl would still be here?

For those of you who don't want to read everything: Since I get carried away when typing, I'll cut it short. The point is, should I feed my dogs Authority brand or Chicken Soup brand? The Authority is more low quality, but my dogs don’t have a single tiny piece of dandruff at all. The Chicken Soup is a lot better quality, but it gives them just a teeny tiny amount of dandruff. Just a liiiittle bit…. So, which should I go with?

The long version:
Well, I've got a husky mix who is so picky... Before I learned that he's picky b/c of switching brands so much, it was already too late. I kept switching b/c we started on a very low quality food. Then, I learned about high quality food and how much better it is. So we went to a higher quality, but then sometimes in between buying the bags, we'd get a little low on money and have to get a small bag of lower quality food for then. Then, I kept testing to see which food is best. (cont)

My cat doesnt like the food I bought her so I bought her wet food and it made her breath smell really bad so i went to pet depot and bought her some breath freshener treats and she is going CRAZY about them. She knocked everything off a shelf trying to get to the tin where i put them and she is still looking to find where I hid them!! lol. Is there cat food like that that I can buy? The treats were kinda pricey for a small tin.

I have had a 10 gallon tank for about 4 months now...I have 5 adult guppies and 7 fry. I also have a little algae eating catfish...I plan on putting an extra filter in my 10 gallon to seed the filter and put that little filter cartridge in my big 55 gallon's filter to seed it and get the bacteria established. Any other suggestion (will have live plants) I want a tropical community tank...and am looking for stocking schemes that will work well with I think some neons, zebra danios, guppies and a betta...any other fish suggestions (no plecos please)

My family & I are keeping our grandmothers half-poodle, half-terrier for the next week. When my parents first brought him home, he was all over me & he followed me everywhere ( I should note that I was one of the first males that he ever encountered while he was staying with my grandmother, & that he was all over me then too). But after I came back from work the other day ( I worked 9 hours) he started growling and barking at me. Now he won't come near me, all over my younger sister. What happened?
