Yorkshire Terrier.

They make great companions. They are very dependaple on humans though. But if you have the time they are sure great dogs. They are also very very very easy to house train.

Well....Atleast mine was.

I had a tiny toy poodle. She was the best dog in the whole world. She weighed 7 pounds and barked like she was a rottweiler. She was very affectionate and not one of those yippy yappy lilttle dogs. I had her for 16 years and she met with a tragic accident a little over a year ago. I recommend to you a tiny toy poodle. They are very smart and have great personalities. IF I ever get another dog, I would get another tiny toy.

Everyone in my family believes it is best to get a full blooded. And I have a teacub Chihuaha and its very small and i love it. Maybe it will do you good. But make sure you get a full blooded or its not worth it believe me.

I have been told a mixed breed makes a better pet than a pure breed... less neurotic and possibly even less inbred health issues.

I would reccommend a Jack Russell Cross or a Fox terrier cross
smart intelligent dogs .. not neurotic Paris Hilton type Shitzus (sps)

For me full blooded, cause it has its own quality and if you prefer to make it to dog shows.
Shih Tzu, even tough it's pretty hard to groom they have the cutest eyes!

mixed r usually the best.however, i have never been fond of small dogs, until i got a boston terrier for my b-day. she is the most lovable, funny, loyal, dog i have ever been around. granted, they tend to have some breathing issues, but all-in-all, she is well worth it. also, they seem(lucy does anyway) to be great with smaller children.

Mixes almost always turn out to be the "best" dogs.

Every purebreed seems to have some sort of inherited physical problems.
