Today, I found a puppy abandoned in a cardboard box and I need advice on what would be the best way to care for her. She is 2 weeks old and very sweet. She is healthy and she is eating some of the formula that I offer her.

I need any advice from people who have delt with this problem before and that any one can give me to help. Before anyone says anything, I will not give her to any shelter around here as she will be put to sleep and I want to give her a good quality of life and I plan on keeping her.

Any advice would be greatly apreciated and thank you ahead of time.

My daughters king charles spaniel dog is 2 years old and everytime she brings him into my house he pee's. He even jumped on my bed and pee'd. He has plenty of walks. It only seems to be in my house not anyone else's. I dont have a dog but i watched my mums (*****) dog about a year ago in my house. Surely her scent must be out my house by now? Is this dog just being bad?

my friend's 3 month old puppy has a lump behind his left leg. It's rather large (since he's such a small dog) and is squishy as if it is filled with a liquid. I asked her if she ever took the dog to the vet for it, and she said no. Now, that puppy came from a liter of puppies we bred, and i know he got that lump when he was around 6-7 weeks old. When we gave her the dog, we told her to get that checked out IMEDIATELY, and she didn't. I'm worried about the puppy. He seems very healthy. He eats, and plays as much as one of his brothers (my friend took two pups) but i'm still worried. I told her to take him to the vet and she said she would this week. Anyone have anything similar happen to their puppies? any idea of what that lump could be?

My syrian hamster used to sneeze a lot when I put in a different toilet paper bedding. It also seemed like she was getting diarrhea because her tail area was wet (can allergies do that?) Well after I changed the toilet paper back to the usual one, she started to seem better. So can they be allergic to certain types, and can allergies cause diarrhea?

she is horrible. a 6 month old siamese. she jumps on the table while you are trying to eat. in front of your face while your watching tv. runs outside when you open the door (we live in an apartment complex and it takes no less than ten minutes to chase her down), she beats up my other cat, she beats up strange dogs (starting fights), she beats up people while sleeping, watching tv, trying to eat, trying to watch tv, trying to play with her. she eats her food and ther other cats, she gets into the toilet paper, the tub and sink (and walks around the house leaving footprints). she won't let you be 2 feet away from her at any point in time. i don't even want to get into how hard it was to wrap christmas gifts. i feel like i have a child or a large dog in a small house. my older cat was NEVER this bad! funny thing is i love her to death and i miss her when i'm away.

I have this really evil kitty, and sometimes, when I am busy, this kitty comes into the room, sits down at a safe distance from me (about 10 meters or so) and stares at me, for a very, very long time, sometimes for hours. This cat is definately not retarded, maybe there is something wrong with me.

I've only had dogs for 6 months. I heard a lot of negative things about Greenies so I've never purchased them until tonight.

My dog has had a very nasty habit of using the cat box as her dessert tray and I wanted something - anything to help with her breath.

I purchased the Teeny form of Greenies for my girls (15lbs and 5lbs) and they devoured them - it was like they died and went to heaven they enjoyed those little green toothbrushes so much!

So, experienced dog owners - what's the deal with Greenies/ What's with the bad press? Are they ok? If not, why are they still on the market? Pros/Cons please?

I have three cats. Two of them use the same litter box because they are both siblings, while the older cat uses her own. Anyway, the siblings always seem to come out smelling LIKE the litter box ( aka their paws and body smell like urine and poo.)

Any suggestions, besides bathing them or spraying them with anything chemical to stop this? Thanks!

i have a 15 yr. old cat and a 5 month old kitten. the kitten isn't fixed yet (vet's recommendation) and is possibly going into heat. my older cat has recently begun to spot the carpet and all the areas which she usually lays. she's still using her litter box but is randomly peeing in certain spots. i've had the kitten for about 3 months and my older cat just started this new behavior. is this normal?

I have a 8-9 week old yorkshire terrier puppy who hates being alone. It has plenty of room to move around. All he does is yelp and whimper for ever and we have very pricky neighbors who complain about my pup. There is a period of 4 to 6 hours where it will be alone 3 days of the week. ]Is this bad? Just to get it to go to sleep in the area i have to be with it for 45 minutes to an Hour then as slick as i can be put him in his area. [a caged area where he has plenty of room to play around with food and water and an area for him to relieve himself.] PLEASE HELP ME! I am very desperate and nervous because tomorrow is going to be his first day alone.

I just took my maltipoo to have her groomed and am not at all happy with the results/service. When I dropped her off the woman was slightly rude and seemed to have an "if you had taken better care of your dog this wouldn't have happened" attitude. I admit she had tangles and mats but it seems like no matter how much I brush her if she goes that long w/o a grooming she gets them. But the woman just patted her on the head didn't even check to see and said she needed to be shaved. She didn't even try to get the tangles out. I by no means want to put my dog in any pain or hurt her in any way so if this was the only option fine but at least really look at her and then make up your mind. So I come back to get her 4 hours later and my dog is shaved down to the skin! Then the woman didn't even speak to me she spoke directly to my sister . So is this just a bad groomer or is this how all groomers would have treated the situation?

I just got my 6 month old ball python and he always spends time in his cave. The most he does is poke his head out from the cave but then when I get close to the cage he goes inside. I don't mean to scare him. Should I let him be and leave him alone for a few days or do I see if he will let me pick him up? Advice please
