That is to be expected, puppies go through stages just like kids as they grow. If your more specific maybe we can help you better.

if your puppy is only two months old and has changed in some way then there might be a health issue ur not aware of. If your puppy seems to be very quiet off his food doesnt appear to be all ther you might want to consider a vet check just to ensure that his organs are growing and that he is general good condition sometimes dogs pick up viruses that we cannot tell they have the best bet is to seek expert advice from your local vet

Puppies are awesome! :o) Wait another couple weeks see if S/he goes through another change. If it is an undesirable change such as aggression (not to be confused with puppy play) then consult a trainer to curb this behavior before it is etched in stone.

Puppies have stages, yes. Often they are referred to as "fear periods" and 7-10 weeks (varies by dog) is considered a big one. This is not to say that they will be fearful of everything but they are more likely to take notice of what's going on around them and carefully explore. It's a good time to encourage the dog to play/explore while keeping things upbeat.

Cheer when they explore something. When something is scary and they back off don't force them up to it. But don't console them for being scared either. You just tell them that was something to be scared of.

Can you be more specific? Puppies go through different stages. What was it doing before, and what is it doing now , that's changed?

Gotta remember that puppies grow a lot faster than people. Their behavior will change from week to week as he grows!

At 8 weeks old you should have just gotten her. The reason she's changed is because now she is in your home, not hers, so she will be slightly frightened. Just love her and she will feel at home very soon.
