no harm at all. Just imagine the dogs used to grow up in the wild - they survived on anything they could lay their teeth on, literally. If you prefer he eats only dog food, then just keep you little boy from food which he can feed the dog.

The only thing I think that could be wrong with that is that the toast might make the puppy feel too full to eat his regular, healthier puppy food. Other than that, I don't think toast is bad for the pup. Maybe try to curb the quantity he gets. Also, make sure he has plenty of water available, as toast kind of dries the mouth.
Of course, if you want to be absolutely sure, you could simply give the vet a call and ask him or her. I call my vet for seemingly little things. Doesn't hurt to make sure. :-)

If toast is bad then every one of our house pets would be long since dead because that would meen pizza crust was horrible for them.
Butter could make you worry, though. If it's bad for pple do you think it's better for dogs?

I'm not sure if it's bad for your dog, but it may cause some behavioral problems. Your dog will demand food when you all sit and eat at the table and will beg for it. I would not reccomend feeding dogs any table scraps or human food for this reason.

Dogs can eat raw dead meat, I think toast is okay. If it were buttered, I would worry. J/K.

you should never feed a dog human food, this is where beging at the table while your eating starts. unless you dont mind it. but i belive a dog should not consider your food to be his as well, that will only leave him confused as to who is in charge. if i were you i would make shure my dog dosent get any kind of human food. and if he dose take it away as soon as you notice it and replace it with his own food. yea and please no chocolate.
