Depends on the vet. Some charge one office visit and then a per puppy fee, then a vaccine charge for each pup. Usually the wormer is cheap and they will sell you a good sized amount to worm all the puppies....which should have been wormed at 2,4, and 6 weeks already.

Pet Insurance doesn't cover routine vet care...unless you buy the EXTRA rider to cover that!!!!

Call ur local pet store or local vet, ask for when the pet mobile will be in ur area, its the best way to get shots at the best prices. Also u will need a vet a little later on u will want ur dog to be on a heart worm med. this is not like other worms it is caused by mosquitos and is deadly to dogs, there r monthly pills and now there is a shot u get for ur dog once every 6 months. This wil cost more than other things but besides getting shots it is so important! I once adopted a dog from a shelter I took him to the vet he was a bassett hound so cute only 1 yr old he had heart worm, it was so bad he had to be put to sleep I will never get over that. I have 2 dogs and I never miss this medication for them. One more thing ask at the pet mobile if they do the 3 yr vaccinations, u can get that now, but please get ur dog to a vet within a few more weeks to get on heart worm prevention. Happy New Year!

I live on a farm and have a barn full of creatures, so vet bills get expensive. I minimized my costs by doing what ever vaccinations I can by myself. Tractor Supply company has a canine 7 way vaccine that can be administered IM or SC that is $5.28. You can also try jeffers pet catalog and KV vet supply. Rabies clinics usually are held in the spring and fall and cost $10.00. Worming is usually not expensive, nemex and earliworm are sold at walmart for around $5.00. Heart worm has to be prescribed by a vet though it is about $40.00, usually you cannot get out of the office for under $100.00 if you do you are lucky, good luck.
