It's only a kitten (maybe 3 months) and I find it inside of the litter bag just chowin' down. Is it just f***in' stupid or is kitty litter some kinda mystery delicacy that I have never heard of?

I bought a used western saddle a while ago and was wondering if there was any way to reverse the darkening on it.

Also it is chewed up a tiny bit in some places and was wondering if that might be a problem at all.

And, if so, do they still require spaying?

Over the past few days I've noticed that my cat gets into her litter box, starts to dig around, then notices her tail and jumps at it. Then she spends half a minute chasing her tail - while still in the litter box - and then its like she suddenly remembers why she was there. So she'll start digging again, then maybe notice the litter flying in the air when she digs and she'll launch into the air and pounce at the bits of litter. After a while, she gets back to digging and will eventually does her business. Yesterday she did this about five times in a row. And then she jumped out of the box and ran off. She eventually came back again to actually use the litter.

I find it very strange. She doesn't actually play with her feces or anything, just chases her tail or the litter granules. I really want to try to get her to stop because I think its a bit gross having her play in the litter box and roll around, and then go climb on the couch or into someones lap! How do I get her to stop this?

So on Friday, November 24th we got our kitten neutered. Everything was fine, the surgery went fine but when we brought him home, he started making this weird coughing sound. It is very similar to when they have a hairball and want to cough it out. The thing that puzzled me is the next day, when we took him to the vet..the sound was gone and he wasn't making the sound. Right now, he's sleeping soundly but the sound comes about after we give him the medication. He puked today and yesterday and I figure its a reaction to the medicine so we stopped.

I just want to know why he would make such a sound after surgery because none of our other cats ever made a sound. The vet said he was fine but he still coughs every now and then. Please help, any advice will be helpful :)

I have a dog, that had 2 strokes, and it partially crippled her in her back legs, to where when she squats to pee or poo, her back end will sometimes fall down. She's a real fighter and has been fighting so hard to not let this stop her, and she is in no pain. But i'd like to be able to help her get around on walks again, and I know there are free services out there that help pets in need get things such as a wheelchair. Please only answer with serious answers as my dog is my world, and I so need to do something to help her. Does anyone know the link to any of these services that help dogs like mine??

We are watching my Mother in-laws dog who is staying with us for 10 days and we are fed up with the urinating, couch chewing, shoe distorting and ripping up pillows. Wally is a little Cairin about 30 lbs, our dog is a Rhodesian ridgeback 83 lbs. Wally, the little dog is commonly urinating next to the dog dish and in our bedroom. We have also caught Wally trying to mount our dog when she is lying down. My assumption is wall is trying to be the Alfa dog but I feel our dog does not take Wally seriously. I have never, NEVER caught Wally in the so called marking act so this is tough!

Key notes:
They both eat at the same time.
Since Wally is so small, when I open the door they can exit at the same time, and they do.
Wally is around three or four years of age and our dog is seven.

I am I right in assuming that Wally is trying to be the Alfa dog and is marking? Since I can not catch him what can I do? Is there a way to stop this as well as all the destructive behavior?

Got this new 3 month old kitten from a friend. I love her because she seems to be curious, observant, sweet, thoughtful, and she loves to travel. She loves to go out, ride the bus with me, and see other people and the world. She is very well behaved when she's in her carrier and we're out. But, when we're home and she's not in her carrier, she's very rambunctious, doesn't listen when I call her name, and she pounces on, and paws at my older cat (who has been the queen of the roost for 13 years). My older cat has no problem with the new kitten, except for the pouncing and pawing. She hisses and growls at the new kitten every time she does these things. What can I do to stop the new kitten from pouncing and pawing? And what can I do to get the new kitten to listen when I call her name? Thanks in advance for the help! :)

My dog just recently got diagnosed with heartworms, they're not severe, but he has them. The treatment they propose keeps him away for 7 days and costs $600. Any solutions that require less away time or less expence????

My 6-year old West hightland White Terrior dog hurt my older dog several times. Then, Vet suggested to cut all her front teeth short. The Vet said it won't be a problem to my dog, so he did it. However, I can see her tooth nerve exposured. I do not know if we did the right decision or will make her teeth problem in the future. Anyone could tell me?

My bf and I have two cats (one is not quite an adult). We're both full time college students and have lots of other activities going on so we're not home much. I buy my cats tons of toys but a lot of them they won't or can't play with unless I am manipulating them. Aside from that toy where the ball rolls around in a circle (I have that), what are some toys the cats could play with and not need humans to help with? I try to play with them as much as I can, but a lot of times I just cuddle and pet them rather than play.

She is 6 years old and slightly overweight. She will even urinate while I am sitting right there. She isn't bleeding alot but she is always dirty on her back side and leaves stains everywhere she sits. I have to constantly clean her back there. The vet doesn't know why she is bleeding and assumes it is coming from her vagina. I don't know what to do. We have been keeping her in the bathroom so that she doesn't urinate or bleed anywhere but I can't keep her that way forever. I don't want to get rid of her but don't know what to do!!!!????
