Pets - 27 November 2006

My cats go outside in the daytime and come home at night to sleep. 2 of them come right in and hang out then go to sleep. The other 2 come in when I get home and eat then want out again. Sometimes they don't come back till late at night. What are they doing out there? They are both fixed and not chasing "girls".

My cat keeps sneezing and also sounds like he hyperventilates or wheezes. He seems really happy and healthy other than that he seems fine.

Okay It's freezing here in Wy. And I have a really high strung border collie who REALLY needs exercise. But it's SOOOO cold outside. And no I DON'T have a treadmill. Whenever I take her out it's only for a couple minutes and I feel so guilty. Another thing she's in a kennel when I'm not outside because she chases cars and I don't want her to get run over. I feel so bad. Help!!

I am trying to convince my parents to let me get a dog but i dont know which one i would like the most. I want a small, gentle dog that doesnt shed or drool too much. What kind is the best for me? Also, i want to get it very young so how would i teach it to use the bathroom and not run away from home if it is let outside unleashed. I know it will take alot of work but any ideas or tips. my dad left his hot chocolate unattended like always and i caught our dog drinking it. i dont know how much she drank. is she gonna die? cause i know dogs arent supposed to have chocolate.

Ok you've probably answered questions 1,000 times. But I've read a lot of stuff and it's just made me more confused...
Got a kitty 1 month ago. Bad, bad place I got her from. She had fleas, earmites, tape worms, round worms, and I have yet to discover what else.
The first day, I saw a flea, so I bought a shampoo. Shampooed the poor thing, which was really, really small and skinny looking. Next day, looked fine. Day after, I think I see a flea. Got a flea comb, caught 4 fleas!! Completely panicked, went to vet, got advantage, got some powder, snowed the apartment.
Vacuumed. Washed everything in boiling water.
Now we're 1 month later. In the meantime, she got revolution, because the vet discovered she got earmites.
Now yesterday, visit a friend's house. Friend used to have cat, outdoors, died 3 months ago. Go there, leave her in 2 rooms for 1h while we have dinner.
Now friend's husband is complaining of flea bites.
- Could it be fleas from their old cat?
- What should I do??

Buddy is 14.2 and can jump really high!! He is sweet and has a very cute unusual attitude! He is chestnut and has a stripe and snip, he has 2 stockings and 2 small socks. he is really fast, but hes an eventer, he is a born dressage pony, his transitions are really nice! im looking for a show name that is very unique! and his show name now is Born Identity...im not sure what it means..(I had to choose it in like 5 minutes!!)...so im not sure if I want to keep thta show name or not!! thanks!!

Is Authority Harvest Baked better for my Labrador Retriever than Royal Canin:Labrador Retriever is?

Ok, I have heard about the best brands of dog foods out there, Innova, Karma, California Natural, Evo, Wellness, etc., but no pet stores in my area sells them!

I just switched my dog to Authority Harvest Baked because Royal Canin was getting way too expensive, but don't get me wrong, I do want the best for my dog, but I heard Authority is better for cheaper too!

Please, please, I'm really really begging you, I have asked this question multiple times, and all my answers were "Well we feed my dog........it's the best food! It helped my dog with all his allergies, etc." or "Actually,............. is better, it's high quality and inexpensive, you should feed your dog that" or "My dog is on....... he's doing so good on it!" Well, please please please, I only just want to know whether Authority Harvest Baked is better than Royal Canin:Labrador Retriever!
