Oh how I fondly recall the days of coming home to the tree knocked over and the cat tangled in the lights. We secured our tree to the ceiling. It was artificial. All the dangling ornaments were put near the top to prevent temptation. We only used wooden or nonbreakable ornaments. Nowadays, I would recommend Bitter Apple. Dogs and cats do not like the taste of it.

It's simple - take the tree back to the tree lot. Cats go after Christmas trees. It's a fact of life.
Remember the cat in "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation?" Enough said.

Just wait a few weeks and the problem will go away by itself, right after you take the tree out. Mean while let her play,It's Christmas for her too.....

i have to put my tree up one week before i decorate it, just let it set empty, and scold the cats as they get into the tree, then add your decorations and keep scolding them if they get near it..dint forget to secure the tree to the wall or floor, give them other toys to keep their minds off of the tree, i have 7 cats and this works for me
