Yes, very touching. We recently had 2 PB's in our clinic with horrible injuries. One was a very tiny 3-pound puppy, maybe a Pit/Boxer mix, that we think had been abused. She came in paralyzed in the back end, and her owner just dumped her. We kept her there for 2 months, got her back to where she could walk and play, potty-trained her, gave her some basic manners training (which she picked up in a hurry), then hooked her up with an adoption agency that didn't breed-discriminate. When Biddy left us, she was almost 20 pounds and 3 months old! A physical therapist continued working with her, and she eventually got adopted. YAY, BIDDY!!
The other was an adolescent male that was hit TWICE by cars. No one would stop to help, except one man. He witnessed the whole thing and risked his own safety to get the dog out of the road. The dog had much of the skin sheared off his foreleg and he had a few broken bones and an eye injury. The man paid for the dog's care and found him a great home. Since then, "Trooper Jake" (we first called him Trooper because of how brave he was during his treatments, and his new owner re-named him Jake because it fits him) has been back for eye surgery and neutering. The whole time he was with us, "Jake" had to endure painful bandage changes and wound cleanings. NOT ONCE did he snap, growl or get cross with any of us or with any of the other animals at the clinic-- including our clinic cat, "Oscar". He comes in for checkups, and he always has a hug or kiss for each of us. Vicious, mean dog? HARDLY!!
"Biddy" and "Jake"-- we love you!!

If it is the video which has the tune 'what can I do to make you love me', there are quite a few along the same lines.
I don't just think it is sad. I think it is barbaric - why kill a dog just because of it's breed. A lot of the time it is down to the owners.
I got very upset watching these videos. I find it hard to comprehend that people just take perfectly healthy dogs from their loving families and put them to sleep because of some idiotic breed specific legislation. It is in certain states in America and I believe that Arnold Schwarzneger has now passed the same law. Shame on him. It isn't just pitbulls that they target.

For those of you who didn't understand or couldn't find it, try the above link or copy and paste it, but be warned dog lovers will need their hankies ready.

I think it is horrible that people want a certain breed banished. It is like a spoiled child in the store. Don't get upset with the 2 year old...slap the heck out of the parent who did not raise them right. It is always horrible when a particular breed is singled out...we have what some consider one of the worse breeds a rottweiller and she is an over grown baby....raised to be gentle and kind.

I think that its terrible that certain breeds are getting a bad name its not the dogs fault its the way the owner trains and raises the dog. Alot of bad press was going around about staffordshire bull terriers they are brilliant dogs the get on with people especially kids that's why there known as the nanny breed. I was brought up with a staffie it was part of my family i loved her to bits we then got a staffie x wee busta he is stunning loves my wee niece to bits they lie around together that's her dog she adores him. Now i have my own wee staffie Rocco hes 14wks old hes gorgeous i couldn't ask for a better dog : )

Omg i think that it is horrible. i hate the people that do that. they need to learn that it is not the dogs fault and that it is the people who raised its fault. If it were abused well duh it would react to certain things. We just rescued a blood hound/coonhound mix from the shelter and she is so like frightened by certain things. she has been abused. It is horrible how people do that. I love all animals. no matter what. I wish people coudl just realize that. ughh it makes me so mad. I wish there was somethign that i could do. anyways to answer your question. yes i absolutely hate it . it is sad. and horrible. and heartbreaking.

I watched the video....its more a case of kill the mindless fools who use these dogs as status symbols, who encourage aggression and who haven't got a clue on dog behaviour or responsible dog ownership.
