Does anyone's nuetered male cat have two sac like things under his butt? My cat was fixed when he was a baby and is now over a year old and I have recently noticed this, and am wondering if it is normal.

I recently got a pound mutt, and it's not completely potty trained... I live in a mountainy area, so I don't want to let him free outside and get all sorts of ticks and fleas. It won't go pee when I take him outside.. He's only 17 lb, so he doesn't eat that much. He's already pooed twice in the house and peed once. I don't know what to do. The only time he pooed was when I took him to a grassy field at the local school and church. What do I do?? Why won't he eliminate outside my house? Should I get the scented house training pads?

I have a 2 yr old female pet dog, what will happen if she will remain a virgin? is there any complication or side effect with her health just like a human being old maid if she do not have sex life?

The reason why im asking because i do not want my dog to be preggy - it is simply because i do not want mess in my house or foul smell that will be brought by the puppies.

we are 'babysitting' the classroom hamsters for the week and I believe they are from the same litter (I got them for the classroom). Anyways, if they're not siblings, then they are cousins or aunt/nephew relation. ANYWAYS - will siblings mate?

Also, how soon after birth will they mate? these are a few months old. Of course I'm not even sure if they're male and female. Have to do a little hamste exam for that.

My dog was diagnosed with dry eye. We have an ointment called optimmune that we put in her eyes, along with artificial tears.It seemed to be working. All of a sudden her eyes have become real red and she walks around with her eyes closed. Our vet gave us an antibiotic and we have been using it for 3 days now, but her eyes are no better. I am wondering if she could be having a reaction to the optimmune ointment. Has anyone ever had a dog with dry eye? Any suggestions please!

Ok i am probably going to adopt a dog soon and i just wanted to know how long it took some of u guys to potty train ur dogs. was it easy, how long did it take, and how did u do it? My parents think i wont take care of it and that it will ruin the house but i know i can prove them wrong. the dog im getting is an 8 week old chihwuawa. i'm getting a girl puppy Pom-chi. (1/2 Pomeranian; 1/2 Chihuahua). It's only like 8" tall and it only weighs 2.5lbs. Tiny. She has light brown hair with dark highlights. What would be a cute name for her. Be original please.

He is all white except a yellow tail and yellow spot on his hip and yellow hears and top of his head. I had just lost my two cats of 14yrs this summer.So I was heartbroken ,and one evening a mom cat brought three kittens on my porch two went home and this one stayed. He moved right in the house and used the litter box I never had to teach him. He is very healthy and very active, I bought him some toys and he brings me his favorite one when he wants to play. I have felt He was sent to me. Would you help me find a name for him. Thanks!

I live in an apartment with two roomies. They had purchased two hamsters with cage and ball and extra wheel in September when they were 8 weeks old. They had split the cost and agreed that Roomie 1 would be 100 percent caregiver when Roomie 2 was gone for holiday breaks and such. I didn't put any $ into this so we all agreed it really wasnt my responsibility.I was alone almost all of Thanksgiving Break, assuming that Roomie 1 would be back periodically for different things, and thus would be responsible for the hamsters. I was alone Fri and Sat night, and since I assumed she was coming in and out (she never called me) that the hamsters were okay. I never really paid much attention to them except the original glance in the cage. As of Thurs night, they seemed fine. Sun night-they are dead. Me and Roomie 2 examined the cage and found the food dish bone dry, and extra food gone too that they stuffed and hid. Are we wrong to assume this is neglect from Roomie 1? They were healthy before.

I've tried the ear flick with no success (was told this is how mother cats discipline their young) I've tried a squirt gun and 5 minutes later he's back gnawing on the branches. I've had cats my entire life and have never had this problem before. I already wire the darn tree to the wall so they can't knock it down and I only decorate the top half-it looks stupid but it's better than stepping on broken glass from them playing with the bulbs. I thought about spraying the entire tree with pepper spray but I don't want to make him sick (not that eating fake tree needles is healthy) Can anyone help me with this please????

I have been told larger breed dogs are kinda like raising pigs, they just don't know how big they really are. That they may have 12 pups but only 2 live til 9 weeks old unless you watch them very closely every hour. ?

So on Friday night I was driving home with my friend and see a little white do running in the middle of the street. We tried to pick it up so it wouldn't get hurt but it kept running from me. After 30 minutes we gave up and hoped it would be ok but then today I was driving home and once again I see a little white dog running in the middle of the street again. I was the only person to stop and try to get the dog out of the road but it was runing off and almost got hit by a couple cars. Finally, I got it to get into a neighborhood. All the dog did was stare at me and run off. So once again I couldn't help the dog so I just hope it is ok. The only reason I ask is because I have never seen a little white dog running a street within two days and acted similar. I am a dog person so of course I am going to try and help it. It's just that both times they ran away. The dogs were in two different locations, kinda far from each other but both times I was on my way home. Its a little strange!!
