my 12 week old brussels griffon puppy lost her puppy fur, but hasn't grown any more-- she is very sparse... is this normal? I was told they do thai and she would get her adult coat soon-- her vet says it's not mange or a skin condition, as her skin is healthy-- what's going on?? has anyone experienced this????

My lovebird is laying infirtile eggs once in a while and I have been thinking of this as her way of communicating with me, so I have been considering a mate for her but want to make sure that it is ok to get her a mate, or if getting her a mate will mean she will attack it.

My 1 yr old chihuahua MiMi has HORRIBLE breath and I can't figure out why!?

I've changed her food, and it made no difference. She doesn't have any dental problems. She chews dental bones and Greenies regularly.

I bought breath spray at Petco made by Petrodex. It says it cleans gums and teeth, soothes irritated gums, fights bacteria that causes plaque and Helps control offensive bad breath. I've been spraying it liberally into her mouth almost everyday but it still isn't helping!

She hasn't always had bad breath, only for about 4-5 months. I also have a 4 month old chihuahua whose breath is fine, so I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with anything in the house.

My friends and family don't even want to hold her anymore because her breath is so bad! What can I do to control it?

No one gets hurt in these fights, but its alot of barking and nipping at each other...They snarl and nip, so I break them up..Help...I don't want to have to find another ohome for the little one....

When i got home I let the dogs out.... cooked then let them back in.
Theni got Buffy (mom dog) and fed the puppy. i totally forgot that the puupy was dick and couldnt poop wit out help i didnt help it anc now its dead..............................................

cat's aren't supposed to like water...right?....can somebody please tell me why my 6 month old kitten lllliks water!! the water from the shower is constantaly dripping slightly. He goes into the shower and plays... and when somebody leaves some water in the bath tub he jumps in and plays... ?WHY?... he comes out and I have to clean up the whole bathroom from his fun...

Ok,my fiance killed a small scorpion this morning but I didn't believe him,like 5 minutes ago,I saw one and he killed it.I'm so terrified now,because we have a 2 year old and he loves playing with bugs and ants and things and I don't want him playing with these things.Could there be a nest in my house?How do I get rid of them? My cat Circuit has a couple of curious habits. Whenever she purrs, she drools. She's done it since I got her at 6 weeks old. At first I thought something might be wrong with her mouth, but the vet said she's a picture of health and it's just something that some cats do. I always warn people when they come over that if Circuit gets in your lap, prepare to get wet! She's my official greeter and visitor inspector. Her second oddity is she likes to sit on my shoulders, like a pirate's parrot. When I'm at my computer, watching tv, reading, anything that I have to sit down to do she comes running and scrambles up onto my shoulders. This is always followed by purring, resulting in cat drool in my hair. I've had many cats throughout my life but never one with either of these quirks, and now I've got a cat with them both! Isn't great how unique cats are!? What sorts of funny habits do your cats have? Are there any other drooling, shoulder fiends?

Hi -

I added an African Dwarf frog to my 29 gallon tropical aquarium about 3-4 weeks ago. He was an active little frog and appeared to be getting bigger when all of a sudden he died.

I was feeding him according to the instructions from the fish store (1/2 piece of tubeworm cubes every other day and a pinch of bloodworms about 2-3 times per week). It's a fresh water, tropical tank. I keep it at about 74-76F. It has live plants, a filter, lots of gravel and natural rocks.

The other fish in the tank are neon tetras, velvet swords and 2 plecostamus (sp?). He didn't look like he'd been attacked or nibbled on.

Any idea what I might have done wrong? Did I not feed enough? Too much? Wrong water temp?

I'd like to know before I get another one.
