Is Authority Harvest Baked better for my Labrador Retriever than Royal Canin:Labrador Retriever is?

Ok, I have heard about the best brands of dog foods out there, Innova, Karma, California Natural, Evo, Wellness, etc., but no pet stores in my area sells them!

I just switched my dog to Authority Harvest Baked because Royal Canin was getting way too expensive, but don't get me wrong, I do want the best for my dog, but I heard Authority is better for cheaper too!

Please, please, I'm really really begging you, I have asked this question multiple times, and all my answers were "Well we feed my dog........it's the best food! It helped my dog with all his allergies, etc." or "Actually,............. is better, it's high quality and inexpensive, you should feed your dog that" or "My dog is on....... he's doing so good on it!" Well, please please please, I only just want to know whether Authority Harvest Baked is better than Royal Canin:Labrador Retriever!
Thanks for your time!

Authority Harvest Baked has all natural ingredients, is baked, but has wheat as the second ingredient (not good!). Includes vegetables, and fruits too! Doesn't have by products, fillers, corn, etc.

Royal Canin has nutrients specialized for my dog (Labrador Retriever). Not all natural ingredients, but has no vegetables, or fruits. No by products, corn, fillers, etc. Has salt

bgolden28! That is not true! Royal Canin isn't made from Diamond... I looked it up and everything. They are both made by different and seperate companies.

The third ingredient in the Royal Canin Lab 30 is Corn Gluten.

The Harvest Baked looks initially like a better food. But, I don't have access to a complete ingredient list.

Try looking for Blue Buffalo - PetSmart carries it and it's quality above and beyond either of the two that you list. Natural Balance is another brand to look for. Many local pet supply stores (the ones that sell other high-end foods and don't sell pets) and petco stores sell it. These are both human grade foods with little to no fillers or bad ingredients. Good luck to you in your search and I commend you for taking so much time to make this decision. : )

i think of it would be solid to objective your canines on Authority Harvest Baked. it particularly is an impressive decision in accordance to the climate and how it particularly is cooked. Royal Canin is an impressive nutrients too yet in specific circumstances value is a factor and there are solid possibilities obtainable. whilst switching over, it particularly is powerful to do it progressively over a pair of week with first a forth new canines nutrients blended with the old, then a 0.33, then a a million/2, then 2 thirds then all new. Authority Harvest baked is extra effective and extra low-priced than many different top classification ingredients. Authority Harvest Baked is for canines from a million-7 yrs old. they have a formulation for older canines too.

Stay with Royal Canin! I've done so many research on dog foods and trust me, Royal Canin has MORE protein than any other dog food brand. I proved it. I been using Royal Canin for 3 months now on my pit bulls, and I decided to take the chance on the Expensive PRICE..but it's definetely worth it. What matters the most is the protein level. Also, 3 cooked eggs every other day + Royal Canin= Healthy, Thick, Massive Dog. So yea, Royal Canin is better then Authority Harvest Baked.

If your dog is thriving and looks good, then the dog food you are feeding is fine. And to bgolden28,Diamond is an excellent food;I have been feeding it to my dogs for years. It was an unfortunate thing that happened with the dog food which was contaminated with aflatoxin, but this can happen with any dog food that contains corn;it could even happen to human foods that contain corn.I feed Diamond naturals, which contains no corn,so my dogs were never in any danger. But ,back to the question,;if I had to choose, then I would choose the Royal Canin over the Authority.

just some FYI, royal canin is made by Diamond dog food who was responsible the deaths of hundreds of dogs throughout the country due to a mold that was allowed to grow on the grains used for the dog food

" I have asked this question multiple times"

Yes you have, and you have had some good answers.

Since it seems like you really just want someone to agree with your choice, then ok. Harvest baked is the best dog food ever and I wish I fed it to my dogs.

LOL! If you are happy with it, then feed it, it is your personal choice.

Please quit asking the same question over an over.

I like Royal Canin. I have never heard of the other. I feed my pets Wellness. The large pet stores don't carry it. I find it in the smaller, independent pet stores (if you are interested in Wellness and just can't seem to find it).
