They are rare, but yes, they do exist. Many years ago one lived with us and a sweeter, more beautiful animal there never was before her or after her. She was black and white with the sleek long hair of a Collie, but was a pure blood. Her name was Lady Guinevere, Lady for short, and we still miss her. Our Children grew up with her and she wasn't a dog, she was a member of the family.

I am the owner of a 5 year old husky and have had ALL the problems you have! To answer your 1st question, harnesses for huskies are useless! Huskies have VERY strong neck muscles. They evolved like this because they were pulling sleds. This is why your dog is pulling. They are natural leaders and if you let them they will lead you. Nose muzzles are awful too, huskies are way too smart for them and can easily get them off. Your best bet is to get a spiked collar or a collar that gets tighter if he pulls. You may think its inhumane but its not, there neck muscles are so strong and the fur is so thick but it will work. Keep the dog close to your side and when he starts getting ahead of you yank slightly and say "heel". Do this until he learns to obey you. Then you can praise him and let him sniff things, but not in the beginning. 2nd question separation anxiety. Do you crate him when you leave? I crated mine but i do not lock the door on the cage. If i do she will go nuts and claw, bite attack the cage like a nut. If you can i would really recommend getting a crate, they think of it as their safe zone like a den. I usually take her to the cage, she walks in then i fill a kong with a treat or some peanut butter and shes content. If you don't own a kong buy one. They are only about $10 and come in handy. 3rd the fur.... get used to it!! Hahaha sorry get used to hair in your food, mouth, on your clothes, etc. Its never ending. Furminator i have it, it sucks, i have so many brushes and tools that i look like a doctor when they spread there tools on the surgery table. The only thing that actually really seems to get a lot of fur out for me is a slicker brush. A giant one. I will brush and brush and brush for about an hour, then i will spray her with a detangler/smell good spray, brush again, spray again then wipe down with paper towels to get the dander off. Invest in a lot of lint rollers :) Hope this helps. Oh my and NEVER let your husky run free off the leash ( unless you have a high fenced yard) he will never come back! Enjoy your husky

There is such a thing as a "fluffy" siberian. The extra long coat is considered to be a flaw and makes any like this not of show quality.
