My pug,lady was my favorite little clown. she made me fall in love with her the very first time I saw her. she was the most beautil pug I ever seen. her little eyes could melt my heart. and her playful personality made me laugh. I miss her so much and I'am so upset that she isn't with me anymore.

She's 10 months old. she runs around all day but at night i make sure she sleeps in the kennel. she likes to chew wires and i worry about her getting electrocuted. she sleeps indoors and has food, water, bone, her toys and mattress in the kennel. i just dont know if its inhumane to keep her in there. am i being too overprotective or am i doing the right thing?

my goldfishes won't live long I keep the tank clean, put the conditioner in the water keep the temperature is they just like feeding fish and don't have a long life span. what am I doing wrong? ive seen big goldfish that stay in dirty cloudy water that lives longer.

Help! My dog has been sleeping in my bed with me and my fiancé for a few months now. I know this is our faults because we let her sleep on the bed when she was a puppy (even though I said NO)... now she won't sleep anywhere else and at first it was ok, but now she is BIG! Anyone have any tips to help me get a good night sleep without my dog hogging the bed?

PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT WITH "KILL HER" OR "TAKE OUT HER VOCAL CORDS"

my mom has a springer spaniel/black lab mix.. and she barks constantly.. and she has no reason to bark. we have tried EVERY type of barking collar, (which made her bark more because it seems she likes getting shocked) training her and telling her to shh.. but nothing has worked..

she's also obsessed with my mom and anyone who throws balls for her. and if you're talking to someone else and not paying attention to her she'll bark in a high pitched bark.. and i spend at least 2 hours throwing the ball for her each day and take her for a long walk also. so dont say shes not getting enough exercise.

we cannot afford a dog trainer so please dont say to get one, i've looked into it.. they're way too expensive.

please help.. i cant stand this and neither can my little boy who's scared of her barking.

My husband and I have a 6 month old Beagle. I am the one who spends the most time with him, and therefore am the one who has taught him all of the commands he knows. Anyway, what's going on is that when my husband or roommate (husband's cousin) play with Harley they encourage snapping by dangling his toys just out of reach, etc. I discourage this behaviour on all occasions as many of our friends and family have small children and I desperately want a calm, friendly pet. However I can't get either of them (husband or his cousin) to understand that their behaviour is detrimental to our dog. Harley is even beginning to snap during regular play. How do I get my husband & his cousin to understand what they're doing is a huge problem, and how do I get Harley to stop snapping?

My Huskey/Lab/Angel is 14. He has arthritis in his back which his vet says is pressing on a nerve limiting his ability to feel the need to eliminate a stool. She prescribed Previcox(?) and another anitinflamitory. These had no effect on continence but did loosen his usually firm stool. She says for more money she can more compeletly diagnose this then can offer an expensive surgery he may not survive and if he does the surgery may not work.
His new vet has completed 5 treatments of accupuncture for the arthritis and hopefully the incontinence. This has had no effect.
She has prescribed "Body Sore" (Psoraiea-Bu, Zhi, Peony-Chi Shao Yao... etc.) and Bu Zhong Yi Qi (Atractylodes - Ba Zhu, Bupleurum - Chai Hu, Citrus - Chen Pi... more.)
He also gets Pet naturals Glucosamine HCL 2250 mg, MSM 1200 mg Chondroitin Sulfate 400 mg and Nuti-Vet Asprin 600 mg

While I was in west Virgina My husband got drunk and left the door open. My two year old pug wich I loved very much and cost a whole lot money, got out the door and got ran over. He acts like I shouldn't me mad at.him. he acts like he isn't even upset that shes dead. Am I wrong and over reacting? I feel like someone has jerked out my heart and stomped on it.

My son received a tadpole from his kindergarden class at the end of last school year and we put "Taddie" in a little tank and fed him what was recommended on the instructions. So I changed his water as specified and fed him and all that, but he never changed into a frog, I mean he never even developed legs, and then he just died. So what happened to Taddie?

Yeah... I knowses, wierd title. Anyways... first off,
my hamster has kind of a crusty yellow thing on his belly. It doesn't seem to give pain and there are no other symptoms, I just need to know if I should, you know, be worried.

And second of all, I picked up my hamster once without looking, and he got all scared so I dropped him and he was making a scary noise and sprinting all over the place... I mean, how he was, it was like ZIP across the cage. He stopped, then ran again, over and over again and finally stopped, traumatized. What is this, or what could've happened?

I already thought of the possibility of picking him up by his eyelid, but why the wierdness instead of a hamster yelp and biting my finger a' something?

ok well my cat's upper lip is swollen and its bleeding every once in ahwile, and we called the vet and asked them what to do and they just said that a cut on the lip takes awhile to heal, and that was it. well we think that one of our other cats scratched her while playing or arguing one of the two and so now her lip is swollen on top. what can I do to comfort her and ease the swelling and stop the bleeding??

When I first got him, he wouldn't drink from a regular bird water bottle so I bought him a water bowl. I would change it every few days and it was fine, but all of a sudden he decides to try to eat over top of it or something and drops the food in the water, it dissolves and there goes the water. I could deal with it except for the fact that it smells like puke when I clean it out. Yuck!

Many pet stores sell animal clothes for cats and dogs but I'm looking for a burlap or kevlar lined sweater and knit hat for my cat.

Basically, my neighborhood has a problem with airgun snipers.
They tend to fire .177 (4.5 mm ) lead airgun pellets like this one

...at cats, birds and squirrels. I believe the velocity they are fired at is below 1250 Feet per second. Basically it only takes a velocity of 400 FPS to penetrate cat skin but, if the cat is wounded, it lingers and dies.
Voelocities upwards of 600 FPS are required to penetrate the skull of a cat in the event of a head shot, so that is why i'm looking for the kevlar lined knit cap too.

Where can I find these things?
It bothers me that my cat will be going out the house with more armor than your typical US SOLDIER.

I have a tank that comes with a light bulb. (dont know what kind but it can hold 2 mini light bulbs and it only holds one.) I think it might be a 15 watt light bulb.
I also have another 10 gallon tank with a florescent/UV lighth bulb, can I use that? (limited in cash)
Is it okay if I keep only 2 females in a 10 gallon tank with a separator for the fry?
Is it okay if I keep 3 males and an algae eater in another 10 gallon fish? ( I read that they like to be in communities?)

I want to buy guppies and have limited money. I bought everything except Air pumps, I read online somewhere that you don't need them. Also do I need to buy a vaccum to clean the gravel? I don't have too much gravel, probably about 1/2 cup a gravel. (i will clean the tank every week).
Should I buy an algae eater in the tank to help keep it cleaner?
I am only buying 2 females in 1 ten gallon tank, and im buying 3 males for another 10 gallon tank. (I plan on breeding them)
oh, the most important question i have is, What kind of lighting do I need??? I have a UV/Florescent light bulb, will that work? I also am going to use a 15 watt light bulb that came with the fish tank? Will it harm them??? Thanks.
