I have 2 dogs a black lab and a golden retriever Bub+Art, Ther the welcoming comite Bub sniffs Art licks.

mine does too, and then he licks his butt and his winkie and he licks the floor where something spilled and the side of the trash can and the water dripping from the car and then he comes back and licks me - it's just so very wrong.

they like that taste. they're trying to thank you for being kind to them. people should be like that. maybe, not with licking, but, surely, there must be a way to show appreciation when someone is kind to you.

Ah, she's giving you kisses! My dog won't kiss me...I must be disgustingly ugly to him. But actually they like the taste of the salt on your skin.
