I know they can't have cow milk, because they are lactose intollerant. Can they have soy milk mixed with dry food to help ween them from mom?

There are marks on the horse like its been wiped/ spired. So it she cant ride it and allmost got kicked off. When we 1st went to see it it let her ride it with no problems. Now we got her down to my sister yard she cant ride her at all. The horse is very fat we were told that she was not pageant but we dont know. Can any one help.

Do people keep protection and security pets other than dogs? I may be wrong, but I have heard of pet (security) bees and hornets, but I haven't been able to fine any info on that yet. It is theoretically possible to train bees, but I dont know the extent to which they can detect and attack intruders.

I recently adopted her from the local humane society. She is two years old. I came back in from outside just now, and had a moth on my foot. It flew away and she caught it and ate it. My other cat catches the normal stuff like rabbits, and mice when I let him. Whats going on with her. He doesn't catch bugs and eat them!?

Hi there! I was just wondering what was the best way to clean my fish tank at home. I actually have it since 3 months and i have 3 comets, 1 blackmoor, 2 grey fish which i dunno the name, and 1 catfish. The only problem with the fish tank is that it gets dirty very quickly, and each time, i have to clean the power filter!!! I give them small pellets to eat. Please advice...

my 8-yr old neutered male cat is 14 lbs. He is muscular; not at all flabby; but from the back, you can see how WIDE he is. Vet told me that his ideal weight ought to be 10 - 12 lbs. Stupid me, I forgot to ask him for a diet... anyone there with experience on getting a cat's weight down successfully? Oh, I feed the cat mostly canned food with a bit of kibble for his teeth. Thanks!

We've gotten a 5 month old male cat a week ago. He is following me and loves to play. But he is, I would say, agressive towards my dad. For example, my dad was trying to pad him when he was laying on a chair and the cat started to hiss at him and scratch him.

Why is the cat only nice to me and does not like anyone else? Is there anything we could do to make him like other people, not just me?

I've been posting about my website lately, and people were talking about having problems with it. It became obvious today that someone was on my server and able to disconnect other people from the stream. I noticed that somehow they were avoiding showing up on the "event log" of people (ip addresses) which shows me who/when people connect and disconnect.
Why would someone do that?
Its a street cat rescue website with live streaming video of the kitties needing homes. Its at http://www.kittiesinthehood.com
Now I have to have a security guy come in and check it out.

I have a rottie puppy (1 yr 9 mos) who has to be on a certain brand food (Wellness brand) due to allergies. His farts reak!!! The worst thing is he comes into the room I am in (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom) lays down and farts. What is up with that!? Even when I let him out to use the bathroom, he'll come back in and fart near me. What do you think he is trying to tell me? :-/

everyday i fill her bowl up with fresh water, most of the time filtered water. for the last week, several times she has flipped it completely over, and is very thirsty when i get home. i know she loves running water, specifically the bathtub and faucet, but she has never had problems with her water bowl until recently. she is about 8-9 months old, and during the day she is in my room while i am gone. tonight when i got home, her bowl was knocked over, so i gave her some more water and she was very thirsty, but after a few seconds she dumped it again. help. i am worried about her during the day cause i am gone anywhere from 8-14 hours sometimes.

hi all, my girlfriend has recently moved in with me, shes been to my house before and my mums. but as my mum has passed away 3 weeks ago i took in her pomeranian to look after it. it hates me and won't leave the girlfriend alone. every chance it gets its up on her lap licking her face, if i go for a cuddle it snaps at me. its my mummys dog and i will look after it untill it dies, and its good to kow this dog will protect my girlfriend at all costs but the dog was never nasty toward me when she was with my mum. whats going on? any ideas peeps? the dogs name is Tara.

My boxer puppy who is 8 months old doesn't stop eating. She has a tin of meat with mixer at breakfast, bowl full of dried food at lunch and for tea she has another tin of meat with mixer. She still seems hungrey after she has eaten. She also has doggy treats for training and when I have left her. I think this seems like too much but I suppose she is a growing dog so maybe she needs that much. Vet said she is fine and in perfect health. She is regularly wormed and frontlined every 6 weeks. So she hasnt got worms. She seems skinny to me I think that is why I am happy to feed her this much. My neighbour said I am feeding her far too much but I'm not sure. Any advise? I would be really grateful.

I have a maltese who enjoys wearing clothing because she connects it with going somewhere, so I googled for the answer first, with no luck. Anyone know of any good online shops that sell metal music-type band shirts for dogs? I'd love to get a Bathory shirt for her, haha. :P I'd be highly grateful for some websites with such as I've been looking for a while now with no such luck. :(

P.S. Please keep comments such as "having a dog wear clothing is cruel." Save it for someone else. I've had vets say how clothing on dogs can actually be quite good for them. Because of weather, sunburning (esp. on short, light colored coats), and even for dogs with allergies.
