We have tried a Spynx and my husband reacted to her. We do not want to spend $3500 on one of those new cats.

Took my dog to the vet yesterday. The symptoms are a patch of bumps on his chin that will not go away after 30 days of 500mg Cephlaxin(2 pills 2 times a day). Vet recommended a Thyroid panel that will not be back for 10 days. Until then, we are continuing the antibiotics- and maybe for longer this time if thyroid is normal.
Does anyone know what the treatment is IF there is indeed a problem? Any experiences to share?
The dog is a 14 month old Rottweiler. 128 lbs- trim.

After some serious thought on a breed of dog for my family, we have decided on a Brussels Griffon, I would like an unusual name, also does anyone who own Griffons have anything to say about their personality? What makes them unique besides looks..

When my downstairs neighbor's dog barks to itself for three or four hours every day when she leaves her apartment. I complained to the landlord but he won't do anything because as long as he's getting rent money he doesn't care what goes on.

I assume there are laws against noisy animals but I'm not sure if I should complain to the police or what. Any suggestions? Thanks

I currently have three dogs, 2 german shepherds (9 years the oldest and 10 months the youngest) and a schnauzer (3 years). I am brining home a new german shepherd (2 years 2 months old) tomorrow. the two GSD's stay outside while the schnauzer stays inside regularly. What is the best way to introduce the new GSD to the old GSD's and the Schnauzer? Oh, and please don't say take them all to a park and play with them at once because that honestly doesn't work for this breed. In fact, it will probably start tension. The two GSD's already have their individual kennels in the yard but i haven't added the third one yet.

Besides lettuce. My bunny has no food, and I won't be able to get some until tomorrow. He's hungry though, and red pepper, and broccoli are the only veggies I have on hand. I may be able to get some other kinds from a neighbour.
I've heard that carrots are bad for domesticated rabbits. Is the same true of any other veggies or fruits?
Thanks for your input!

that chows have a tendency to turn agressive? I know the golden retriever is a gentle dog but what of the chow? My dog Abby is 91/2 yrs old we've had her since she was 6 weeks old and she's been spayed since she was 5months old I have noticed that with the older she gets the more agrresive she is becoming. She hasen't hurt anyone yet but I don't want it to come to that before I do something? She has never had any behavoir problems before.

I'm not talking about eating meat, wearing fur or pulling the wings off flies. I'm talking about people who do really sick, twisted, bloody things that can get them arrested. The kind of stuff that disturbed kids do to pets that indicate that they'll be serial killers later in life. Your thoughts?
