Does anyone know why this happens? The kids were so looking forward to her 1st litter. No live kittens came from this. We called the vet when she started running over due but they said to continue and see how she progresses. Well, the 1st one was born with out a sack, and the 2nd one looked like it was covered in micodium. They were born at 68 days I know the average is 63, so I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and do you think that at 5 years old, she was too old to have kittens? We want her to try again, but afraid to be devastated again. Any good news in this very sad week? Thanks, Lea:)

Should I spend a fortune on a papered Pug, or risk getting a dog from a 'backyard breeder'?

i am not a morning person, in fact, i stay up all night long. i live in a trailor park and my neighbor (who lives right behind me) has about 7 or 8 roosters. they make noise all thru the night. they continue to make noise thru the day as well, what should i do?? i thought about calling animal control, but im not that kind of person. i would rather shoot the roosters and have me a good dinner. they drive me nuts when im trying to sleep, they drive me nuts when im wide awake at 3 in the morning. what the hell are these roosters making noise for at three in the goddamn morning?!!! what should i do?--call animal control, call the cops, or just shoot them and offer the neighbors a plate?

Are there any concerns I should have about a puppy that is taken away from is mother this young? The puppy is eating liquified/solid puppy food right now (mostly solid though) and is doing fine. The puppy has been started on its initial deworming treatment and appears healthy in every area.

My kitten has been scratching her ears... i check her ears and i saw brown flaky residues in the inner part spreading to the earflaps... i swabbed it with a cooton bud with mineral oil...its still itchy, could i be ear mites?

My dog has been growling at me and my kids, we love him and we play with him and do things with him and we dont do anything to make him mad or anything but when he is growling at us and snapping at me and the kids what does this mean? I am considering on putting him down for he is getting aggressive. We hade him for a year and he came to us all the way from Virginia. I think he was mistreated by the orignal breeder or owner. He is two now but I think he is older. When we bought him the people said that they kept him in his kennel and not around people much. Any suggestions? He is our main gaurdian but he is becoming a threat to my kids and me. He is by the way a full pure bred Lowrider American Staffordshiire Terrior, in other words a pit bull.

The poor thing, she's old and has gottten to the point where she can't get up off the floor, when she try's to get up, she yelps really bad. I know I need to take her down to be put to sleep, but she's over 100 lbs. and i don't know how to get her down the stairs and into the car to take her to the Vet. To make matters worse, we don't have any money to even put her down....Any advise sure would be appreciated. We live in Green bay, Wi.
This is going to be the hardest thing I ever had to do.....I love her so much.

Hi, I have a 20 month old female Jack Russell who is about to come in to season for the 3rd time. I have been told this is a good time to mate her, before having her spayed. She is quite petite, so have been careful to find her a mate who also quite small. Problem is, he is only 7 months old! Is he too young to mate with? Any help appreciated, cheers, Chris

whats is happening to all you rothweiller owners out there, another child was attacked (2year old) and survived , the 5 month old baby wasnt so lucky? my friend has a rothweiller and you couldnt ask for a more lovely dog! i cant see him attacking anyone and he is very fond of kids. I have a kerry blue and he is so so lovely and fab with kids, his nature is of being stubborn and ferocious but as a dog owner i know he cant be trusted with anyone yet alone kids, where are the parents or guardians when these attacks happen? i am not having a go at rothweiller owners either so please read the question properly!

i got my cat last year he was 6months.
i don't no much about cats but my cat never drinks i put his water down and he don't ever drink it the bowl gets dirty so me or mum don't brother putting any water down but he eats a lot i have tryed putting water in with his wet food but then he would not eat it can u all help my cute little cat Olly?

This is my cat Momo, what breed is she? I was thinking a mix of Chartreux, Burmese and British shorthair. She doesn't look a thing like a Burmese but after reading the info from http://www.cfa.org/breeds my cat's characteristic is exactly like a Burmese, she follows me around like a dog, loves to squat on top of me and not move or sleep either under my cover or anywhere near me. I have been looking everywhere for my cat's breed but can't find out what she is! Help please!

In the box, there was a small bag that contained 2 plastic extension pieces & 1 little circular plastic piece (looks like a slip-on cap) or something that has a small raised square that sticks out on top if it - does anyone have this and know what that little circular piece is for?

I asked this before but the answers said that it may be the flow control valve - which it is not - that came attached to the filter itself and works. This piece is the same color as that valve but a little bigger of a circle and has that raised square.

I noticed a small square hole in by the spinning motor part but I tried to put this in there and it fit somewhat but then it blocked the flow and nothing worked so that wasn't it either - it does not fit on anything and the package fails to explain what it is - it just mentions the extension pieces and a screen but I think the screen is actually on one of the extension ends as it is slitted and nothing else resembles a screen at all.

Please help :o) !!!

I have a 1/2 bath was was placed under a stair well. So as you walk in to the left is a sink and to right is a toilet. Well behind the toilet is about 4 feet of free space. Well after I first moved it, I used this space as a place to keep the littler boxes for my cats. Well I guess I had let the box get to full or something, but they had 'accidents' on the bathroom floor. So I had to move the boxes(aren't allowed in the bathroom) but I would like to move them back to the bathroom, where they are out of the way. But I am afraid that they will continue to use the floor instead of their box, since they smell their poop on the floor. Is there anything that I can use to put over the floor, so they wont smell it or use to clean the floor. They are hardwood so I can't use bleach and by the look of it, I'm not to totally sure they are sealed.... I would really like to be able to put the boxes back, but afriad that I will be cleaning up more poop from the floor than their boxes. Please help.

She meows incessantly to go outside all day. This has gone on for months. I take her out for a few minutes and when I return her, she tries to bite off a piece of me. I have to squirt her with water to get her to calm down. I tried giving her catnip against my wife's wishes and she went even more nuts. What about Feliway?
