Thats ear mites, if you are not careful from all the scratching and head shaking she can get a Hematoma, wich is a blood filled sca in the ear. It can be painful and cause deformity. Take it the the vet they can flush the ears and give you ear drops. NEVER STICK SOMETHING IN YOUR CATS EARS THE VET DOESNT GIVE YOU

Yeah, anything in the ears but just wax is bad. If it looks like coffee grounds odd on bet it is mites. Be careful with a cotton bud in puss cats ears - I prefer to get in there with a twisted up bit of toilet paper because there's no risk of them flinching & pushing the cotton bud into the ear too far & causing possible injury. If you don't want to take your cat to the vet (& I don't know why you wouldn't) you could try something like Revolution which tackles fleas, ear mites & worms. It's only like $35 for a pack of it & it lasts 3 months.
Best of luck

Yeah that sounds like she has ear mites, I just went to the vet for the same thing. Go to your vets and get this stuff called "Revolution" It's not that expensive (max $10)and it covers mites and fleas one dose is good for one month, you just apply it on the back of her neck and all should be good.

hello vanezz,

my dog used to have some in her ears all the times
you had right to put mineral oil in his ear, because that slow down the mites
but you should bring your cat to the veterinary
and don't wait because that could become infected

Is it red? Red ears is a symptom of ear mites.
If it is, you should use antiparaseptic medicine on your cat or
remove debris from the ear.
