My dog can walk on her front paws with her back legs up in the air (like a handstand). She seems to be able to do this for a very long time, whenever she wants to (like if her leash is tangled up in her back legs she'll do this to get herself free). How can I teach her to do this on command? Seems like it should be easy since I know she can do it whenever she wants, I just need to figure out how to make her want to! ;) Thanks!

My boyfriend has a labrador which pooped on the floor and when I spanked him my boyfriend got verbally abusive. When I came home the next day I found that he buried my two cats in the backyard up to their necks and ran over their heads with the lawn mower. I want to break up with him but if I do I wont have anywhere to live. What should I do?

My puppy got her 3rd round of shots last Thursday, not including the rabies. She is a pitbull mix I guess, and they say pitbull don't have a strong immune system. Does someone know when can I take her outside for walks??? I startedyesterday, but I go where there's not many feces around the grass, but this morning accidentally she was sniffing some old dog poo on the floor, at first I coulnd't tell it was poo, but when I got closer you could teel it was.
Let me know if someone knows how long I have to wait to take her out after her shots?

My 3 year old great dane was diagnosed with panosteitis about 4 months ago. He had a major flare up about a month ago and had to have a huge pain and anti inflammatory injection. He was in horrible pain. My question is to those who have dogs with panosteitis. Are all flare ups this intense? Will he have to have a pain injection with every flare up? Thanks for the info.

Me and my best friend are making homeade pet products.Such as: organic catnip mice, and pillows, dog biscuits, dog ropes, hanging birdseed bells, dog collar covers, horse muffins, cat scratching posts, pet beds, and other pet products. We are working locally right now but would like to expand and a catchy slogan is just not coming to us. All of our products are organic and handmade. Any Ideas

I have a male dog that weighs around 160 pounds, and we have a female dog that is 16 months old. If we allow them to mate is there a good posibillity that the male dog would hurt, injury the female dog's hips. Any information about hip injury with mating would be helpful. Thank you for looking at my question. :)

my one year old indoor cat Shelley sometimes acts wierd like he is unsure or scared of objects in my flat.

today he kept creeping up to a towel and reaching out to touch it with his paws but when he touched it and it moved slightly he jumped away from it. then he does it again.

he does the same to lots of different objects.

is this normal cat behaviour?
why does he do it?

My puppy races across the yard and often tends to get yanked around as she reaches the perimeter of her tie out. Is there a safe harness that I can use to prevent her from yanking her head off?

My fiancee and I just welcomed a new kitten into our home about two weeks ago. We received him from a repitable pet store in town. His date of birth is 5/27/06. Now my question is pretty plain and simple, but...when ever we shower, run the faucet, leave the toilet open, he almost immediately goes to it and drinks. I make sure his bowl is both full and fresh everyday, does anyone know as to why he does this. Also, we have a fairly soft blanket in the bedroom, that if he comes in contact with it, he immediately drops down, and start "nursing" on it, kneading away as well. I have heard this may mean that he was taken away from his mother too soon, but i figured I'd ask seeings how I had another question. Thanks in advance!!

According to her vet, our female calico is 10 lbs. I was surprised she weighed that much and asked the vet if it was OK. The vet said she should be 8 lbs or so; those extra 2 lbs don't sound like much but they're a lot on her little frame!

The real question is: how much should a cat her size really be eating? We were just refilling her bowl whenever it turned up empty (yeah...bad idea). Over the past few days I have been giving her 1/4 cup of dry Iams cat food in the morning and one in the evening (plus 2 treats in the morning). She seems fine with it and doesn't cry for more food.

Should I cut this down even more or does this sound right for a female cat? Thanks in advance guys!

I've had cats when I was younger and it was a normal relationship. The cat I have now is overly clingey. Sense Im unemployed we spend alot of time together. And I mean clingey. I can't go to the bathroom without her in the room or she goes nuts crying outside. Sense the apartments only 850 SQ Ft... she follows my every move.

I realize it's normal but I think shes too attached. She constantly jumps up on my lap wherever I am and I mean it's too much and she doesn't get the point. So I bought her some new toys and stuff but... she still... its just really annoying.

My bf won't let her lay on him at night. So now she lays on me... I wont let her but she does whatever she can to get on me. She will go through the covers where my feet are, crawl up my body and then repeat once I move her.

If I put her out of the room she meows and plays with the door... once I even had to leave the room and fall asleep w/her on the couch...

WHAT DO I DO SHES DRIVING ME NUTS???

My cat Willow is allowed on the couches but not on the bed. During the night she jumps onto the bed and I shoo her off about ten times. She usually doesn't start until around 3:00 am. As soon as I swat her off, she jumps right back up. I've gone from gently placing her into her own bed to giving her a firm "NO" and little spank. Nothing seems to be working. Please help!

Everyone says that miniature pincher's are supposed to be really smart, but mine is really stupid. He is also clumsey and always falls when he is walking and running. Will he ever grow out of this?

I really think we have too many. I don't want to give numbers.... we have a few that are outside cats and some that just stay in my sister's old bedroom and several that stay in the main part of our house. I just need to know how many is concidered hoarding. I don't want to be breaking any laws, I just wish my parents would see that they are in over their heads...
