Yes, some do (oviparous), some don't and instead give live birth (viviparous), and some do a cross between both [that is, they create eggs that hatch within the body, and then give live birth] (ovoviviparous).
Some examples :
oviparous - horn shark
viviparous - hammerhead shark
ovoviviparous - mako shark

About 30 percent of sharks are oviparous, which means the female sharks lay eggs containing developing embryos. The other 70 percent of sharks are viviparous and bear live young. The pregnancies of live-bearing sharks lasts 9 to 12 months. The female spiny dogfish is pregnant for 20 to 24 months, which is one of the longest pregnancies for any animal with a backbone. Male sharks can be identified by a pair of claspers attached to the back of their pelvic fins.. Here isa site that lists egg-laying sharks and the size and shape of the eggs http://homepage.mac.com/mollet/Eggcases/Oviparous_sharks.html .

Yes, all of them. the species shark are fish. this by defintion means they: have gills, are cold blooded, lay eggs, have scales.
most sharks lay thier eggs in a sort of packet which floats around, they do not look like birds eggs. some though hatch an egg inside their womb so it comes out of the mother as a live birth but actually was from a proper egg with a shell- the animal developed and hatched in/from a egg.

A few sharks, such as the Port Jackson shark and cat sharks lay eggs with horny shells, sometimes known as 'mermaid's purses'. All other sharks give birth to living young. In most sharks the developing embryo is nourished by the yolk sac, although development is completed in the uterus. Some sharks, such as hammerheads and whalers, have true or placental viviparity, where the yolk sac of the developing young is much reduced and nourishment of the embryo comes from the uterus via a placenta. The number of young varies with the species and the size of the female.

Boy, these people don't really know. Some sharks lay eggs, like nurse sharks, while others, like the great white, have live young...in a sense. They carry the fertilized eggs in their bodies until the eggs hatch and then are born. It all depends on the species.

Some sharks give birth to live young and some have pouch-style eggs. These are see-through when you hold them against the light and you can see the shark babies move. The same applies to some of the ray species. You can find the dried shells at the North Sea coast, though they are not round. Used to collect loads as a child... It was quite fascinating!

As opposed to the morons who say "no," I'll give you an educated answer.
Some sharks do lay eggs. You can quickly prove this by going to www.marinedepotlive.com, clicking on "fish," then "sharks." You will see that they have shark eggs for sale.
Many sharks do "pup" live young, though.
The short answer is "yes, they do."
Source: I study these animals in captivity and have dove with them in Australia, Hawaii, and Florida.

Some sharks, like the cat shark or bull shark, lay eggs.
Other sharks, like the blue shark, the hammerhead shark, the gray shark, or the saw shark, give birth to their babies.
Sharks like the whale shark, the white shark, the tiger shark or the carpet shark hold their eggs inside their body. If the babies are ready, they come out of the eggs’ hard shells but inside the body of their mother. Right after that, the mother gives birth to the babies.
