My puppy got her 3rd round of shots last Thursday, not including the rabies. She is a pitbull mix I guess, and they say pitbull don't have a strong immune system. Does someone know when can I take her outside for walks??? I startedyesterday, but I go where there's not many feces around the grass, but this morning accidentally she was sniffing some old dog poo on the floor, at first I coulnd't tell it was poo, but when I got closer you could teel it was.
Let me know if someone knows how long I have to wait to take her out after her shots?

make sure she has all her shots for Parvo because that is deadly - then you're good to go and make sure she doesn't eat trash and junk she comes across outside.

Well, she's had all 3 sets of puppy shots so it should be fine to take her out and get her socialized now. You still have to be careful where you take her though because shots are not 100% fool proof; just because your dog has had all it's shots doesn't mean she won't catch any of the diseases she's been immunized for but she's got a better chance of not getting sick than a dog who has no protection at all.

I'd start taking her out for walks now, and just not let her approach any other dog for a while. There's a big controversy in the dog community due to this. Some veterinarians advocate a dog not being taken around other dogs or people until he or she is 6 months old (and fully vaccinated), but unfortunately, a dog's prime socialization period is before 6 months old. So, people who haven't been letting their dog meet other dogs or people for 6 months are finding that their dog is aggressive to other dogs and strangers, due to the lack of socializaton.
If I were you, I'd enroll my dog in a puppy class, so he or she could get some socialization, and I'd take her for walks, too. The risk of disease is less than the risk of an undersocialized dog, but it's your choice to make. You could always ask your vet and see what he thinks.
Hope this helps!

Take her anywhere, it doesn't really matter. It's hard for dogs to catch other illnesses unless they eat it or touch it. If it was your dogs poop it doesn't matter at all. She has already had her shots so there isn't anything to worry about. Dogs heal faster than humans and dont get sick as easily. Pit normally dont have high immune systems when it comes to eating table food, and other stuff like that. Keep her on dog food and water shell be just fine.

Wait till she's been vaccinated for Parvo (horrible horrible disease they can die from, very hard to treat) and have all their booster shots. If they don't have all of those shots they could get Parvo. Believe me, you really don't want to risk getting that one! For now, keep here where you know other dogs haven't been, Parvo can stick around for a looooong time, no matter where it is!

We started to take our puppy out the first night. At first we just walked her down the driveway, then down the parameters of the yard, just so she got used to her boundries and to wearing a light leash. It's a good idea to put your dog in a dog training class, to teach you as well as your puppy how to behave, and how to get used to other people and pets.

Take her any time you want. Their immune systems are not so frail that they will get sick from sniffing other dogs' poo any more than any other dog would.

Just b/c she's had all her shots doesn't mean she has full protection. You want no that until she comes in contact w/Parvo germs. But, to be safe-walk her in your own areas. Stay away from PARKS.
