It is best to train it before three yearr old. It learns faster when it's still young. He wil always be able to learn new commands, but the older he is, the longer it will take him to learn it.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aMQAj
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Dogs can learn new tricks at any age. I have a 13 yr old dog that can still learn them. Dogs will continue to be able to learn new things throughout their lifespan, with the exception of some type of health interference.

a million. the in the previous the added ideal. worry-free instructions can started being taught at 8 weeks at the same time as a clean puppy comes abode. 2. actually! you'll follow an identical frame of mind as you'll with a puppy. There are obedience instructions and books which will practice you to coach your dogs. i'm prepared on clicker practise for most dogs, it somewhat works nicely and is functional, so dogs commonly delight of their practise instructions. only have persistence, it ought to take somewhat longer for an older dogs to capture on to the command than a gentle puppy, yet they receives there with time and repetition.

You can teach dogs no matter what age they are.
Some dogs become senile when they become elderly, but you can teach them new things right up until their memories start failing them.
My 12 year old greyhound was learning new tricks until the day he died. Not always tricks that I taught him, but he was learning anyway. He figured out how to work the baby gate a few days before. :-)

A dog can learn at any age. Don't listen to people who say they can't I know from experience. They know what they think they know because either they don't know what they are doing or they were told that by someone that didn't know what they were doing. Probably both.

I have an 11 year old lab/shepherd mix that still learned new obedience tricks. It is good to keep their minds sharp by constantly "teaching" them new tricks/commands for as long as they live.

When he gets senile. That "can't teach an old dog new tricks" is a myth. Teaching your dog mew stuff all the time is good for him. keeps his mind active and he's less likely to become bored.
