My daughter wants to get a chinchilla, but I have no experience with them and I do know anyone that has one. She has two hamsters that she takes care of very well.

there were three babies altogether but the mother only took one back. ive kept the other two and the let me pet them but they arent very socialable. ive had them for about 7 or 8 monthsnow and its too late to release them now. sources say they wouldnt survive because now theyre used to captivity. They're doing fine and are very healthy but how can give them a more comfortable environment?

i still like to believe there are still dinosaurs living until now, maybe on the deepest part of the ocean or on the most secret part of the world or forest. U believe it is still possible? I mean, its just no one is disturbing them so they just live quietly far from us? Would u like to share with me ur view?

Maybe a veterinary school site? I have a sick cat. I have been to two vets with bloodwork and urine analysis not indicating what the problem is. Antibiotics help but haven't cured. Before I put the cat through more invasive stressful testing, I want to research the symptoms (not eating much, listless, eating kitty litter, licking concrete, sitting in cool places (like sink) more myself.

What do you use when you have an early ring time (say around 8-9am) and have to be in groups (around 3-4pm) and you have a dog who is "fading"? I have tried pedalyte, gatoraide, letting him sleep, playing with him just before groups, herbal supplements, vitamins, etc. It is such a long day for him. We are fine if we have our first ring time around lunch or after but the early morning - and I have groom dogs so I have him on the table as early as 6am. Any tips or suggestions?

She was quite loving and we were able to hold her and pet her. When we brought her home she hid for 8 days. It's been 21 days and she will come out during the day and play with our other kitten, but won't let us near her. We can play with her with her toys, talk to her, but she is so spooked if we get more than 2 feet nearer to her. Isn't 3 weeks enough time to adjust? What else can we do? We're worried we won't be able to catch her to get her shots. I tryed picking her up when she was in the closet and got scratched up pretty bad. She seems happy just being close to the other kitten. She is a sweet kitten and we just love her from a far.

I've been feeding my dogs Purina Dog Chow, but lately their coats seem to be more dull than they were this time last year and they are shedding a lot more. The Border Collie mix is black but she's greying and seems to be healthy other than the fact that she's getting older. The Lab mix is the one I'm worried about. Her coat use to be so vibrant and now it's dull and sheds a lot more than before and a lot more often.

What dog food would be a good change? Also, did Dog Chow change their formula within the past year?

We have an 8 yr old Chuihuahua/Jack Russell. She is very smart, knows LOTS of tricks and is very well tempered however we (I) am having a problem with her on her leash. We have one of those long retractable leashes and when my boyfriend walks her she good as gold, but when I walk her she's always testing her limits. She will go as far as I allow her to (by me pressing the button to stop the leash) but then she will bare down and try to push herself farther either pulling me along or pulling the leash out of my hand all together. I have tryed tugging on the leash when she does this and firmly saying no but she does it everytime I walk her. Does anyone have a secret??? like I said, normally she is VERY well behaved, its just this one thing thats really bugging me as to why she does it, and Im worried that one day she may pull the leash out of my hand and run onto the road infront of a car.... HELP!!
