Cabbits are, have you seen them. They are a supposed mix of a rabbit and a cat. Basically it is a cat born without a tail, and the legs are permanently bent, so it hops around. Its a birth defect, but its a really cute one!

Cats are only distantly related to rabbits. Cats & rabbits are both mammals & that's the extent of the relation.

Cats aren't related to rabbits. They are from an entirely different species of mammal.

Sorry they are a different breed. But I bet your tabby looks adorable. Even though your tabby isn't related to a rabbit, you can still call it a cabbit when it lies down!!!

No theyre not but I have found that cats and rabbits are very similar in their nature and intelligence. They can look quite alike too, especially the back legs!

Cats and rabbits aren't just different species, they're from entirely different orders of mammals. Cats are from the order Carnivora, rabbits are from the order Lagomorpha

They are not. I think that they are in the roden family acutally and do know they did not evolve along the same line as cats.

I rescued an old cat who had no tail. I called her my "bunny" for a while as I had never seen a cat without one. She had a nice name, Cameo, so I didn't name her Bunny.

If you go back far enough we are related to cat and rabbits. It's called evolution.
