My chihuahua is a very pretty boy who has already been a daddy with a girl down the street, but we want to get him out so that he can make us some money. How?

look in the newspaper or online there are a lot of people who advertise for stud services.... or you could advertise your dog for services. But it may hard to get anyone to take him if he does not have papers! Good luck!

Before you decide to breed you should spend a few days volunteering at an animal shelter! Anyone with a heart who has ever been in a shelter would never consider breeding as an option.
It is unhealthy for your dog if you don't get him neutered. You are taking years off of his life expectancy. His chances of getting cancer is extremely high. I'm hoping that you love your pet enough to do what is best for him.
Also, no reputable breeder would EVER consider using your dog as a stud. Only champion show dogs are ever used, this is so that the breed keeps improving. It also lessens the chances of inbreeding and over breeding, both of which cause many health problems.
Have you researched this breed at all? Have you had him checked over by a vet and gotten an OHE certificate on him? Is he registered with the AKC or the UKC? If not, he should not be bred!
NEVER BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER PETS DIE!!!

Just because you think your dog is pretty and you want to make money are NOT reasons to breed. Be a responsible pet owner and get your dog fixed. I don't mean to be a ***** but it's people like you that contribute to the MILLIONS of unwanted pets that are homeless, living in shelters, and KILLED on a daily basis because there is no room for them!!!!
Help solve the problem, don't make it worse!!!
Think of all those poor unwanted dogs.
Look at this link for all the Chihuahua's that already need homes. I'll bet the people that bred them thought their dogs were cute too. Instead of breeding why don't you adopt one of them?

You are only going to make money with your dog if he has earned his championship title. Any ethical breeder and one who gets good money for puppys is going to want a proven titled dog for sire for pups.
If he is not titled who beside you thinks he is great example of the breed? And what makes them qualified to tell that?

Pig. Dogs shouldn't be a source of profit. They are our pets and our dependents. If he isn't registered, tested negative for genetic diseases and other health problems and doesn't fit the breed descrition he should be neutered.

Join your local breed club and show him. As soon as he earns his championship - if he is as good as you say he is - then people will be coming to you. Just make sure you are working on getting all of his genetic testing done in the mean time. Tell, me, what inherent diseases are in the chi's? Have you had him tested for luxating patellas?

If it has papers and has won some shows you might make some cash with it, but if it hasn't....
