He will keep barking and jumping until i pat him and he will nibble on my hand. How can I get him to stop that nibbling habit? He's coming to 2 yrs old.

I have 3 cats, 2 male, one female. The two males started fighting months ago, so bad that the older male has had puncture wounds and scratches. The oldest is 9 and the youngest is 5, and I've had them both since they were kittens. The youngest, since he was 4 weeks old.

I've had to keep the males separated at all times. It's a little disappointing and upsetting to say the least that after 4 years of them living together, they've all of a sudden decided they can't live with one another. Both males get along with the female, who's always been low on totem.

Is there a way to work this out? I've tried supervising them, and it's no use, the youngest attacks as soon as he lays eyes on the oldest.

All three cats are altered and indoor cats only.

Any thoughts?

Everyday when my daughter practices violin, my lab sings along. Someone told me that the violin sound must hurt dog's ears so she howls to release the pressure. Is that true? Sometimes when my daughter plays softly after playing chords, my Lab still sings.

My boyfriend brought home a puppy or me. I can't decide on a name because right now he is only 2 months and is really cute and sweet but he is gonna grow up to be really big and scary looking. He is half Pitbull and half Rottweiler. I am not going to let him get mean. I don't want him vicious. I am gonna give him lots of love. It has to be a name that is original and cool.

Two days ago I changed 2 gallons of the 6 gallon tank where my Betta lives and made sure the water was the right temperature. I left him inside while I changed the water but today he is just swimmig in one corner and is sometimes just lying at the bottom...!!!! what do I do? should I change more of the water? or...? I have no idea. I did put in some conditioning drops when I put him in there... I also checked the ammonia, nitrate... anyhow he is lying in the bottom and is not moving I dont know what to do...

I buy mice from the pet store for my preschool science center. This time the mouse I got is an aggressive little biter. He bites his cage mate, and even jumped on me and bit my hand. Kinda creeps me out and I wonder what's wrong with it.

My Papillon started becoming lathargic after our trip up north in July. He also began growling at me and the rest of the family, as though he did not know who we were. The growling fits typicallly occur in the evening hours. It has been two months, and he became extremely ill. He went into the hospital because he was vomitting, diahrea, latharic behavior, still growling, clear uring, and would not eat. Blood tests indicated his kidney levels were 6x normal. Intervenous fluids reversed the symptoms and he was sent home. Within 12 hours, he relapsed and became ill again. More x-rays, cbc, blood tests, acid bile test, and a test w/ dye through digestional track was done. OVerall, he seemed to be doing better at the vet and he was sent home. However, this is his first night now, and he is still growling and unaware of who I am for periods of time.
Please help, my son has been sick and the vets can't match his symptoms with a diagnosis, and obviously he isn't getting better. I am worried!
