I've been posting about my website lately, and people were talking about having problems with it. It became obvious today that someone was on my server and able to disconnect other people from the stream. I noticed that somehow they were avoiding showing up on the "event log" of people (ip addresses) which shows me who/when people connect and disconnect.
Why would someone do that?
Its a street cat rescue website with live streaming video of the kitties needing homes. Its at http://www.kittiesinthehood.com
Now I have to have a security guy come in and check it out.

Because they can and they're immature bullies who attempt to make up for their inadequacies by destroying other people's stuff. You're dealing with the information-age equivalent of teens driving down the street and smashing mailboxes with a baseball bat.

Sorry that this is happening to you. Kitties in the hood always need loving and rescuing. What a wonderful thing you are providing. I am not a computer guru. I only read your question by chance. I was logged on and seen your question first in the all category section.
Again how great are you to be doing this service and for someone to be doing this to the kitty website. I do not understand why either. Good Luck and God Bless.

Some people really have nothing better to do than sabotage other people's good efforts. I really hope that you can stop this creep from continuing to mess with your website, because I really enjoy visiting and seeing all the kitties!

I'm sorry this has happened to you! I love all animals. Some people have nothing better to do but harass people and be destructive. That is just so wrong! They need to grow up and get a life!

unfortunately, there are some people who just enjoy upsetting what they call "do-gooders" like you. Mean-spirited, they despise anyone with a philanthropic or warm, kind heart like you and take every opportunity to thwart your efforts to do good. May they burn in hell!
