keep her for a few days without naming her anything. Don't address her by name, just use the commands. Learn her personality, and a name should fall into place. A pet is a member of the family, and should have a name given with that same love that you would give a name to a son or daughter...
Possibly look at words for specific traits/qualities of hers in other languages. When I first brought my dog home from the shelter we adopted her from, she just sat, stared at me, and smiled a little doggy smile the entire drive home, so I named her "Risi" which is latin for "I smiled."something like that could work well for your cat if you want to try to let it...

I have a persian black tortie female called Chloe and another calico female called Sophie. I like "regal" names for persians, i'm not a fan of the "snugglepuss" "cutiepie", "fluffy" kind of names lol.
How about Tosca, Ruby, Maya, Zoe, Zeta, Lola (of course i love Chloe and Sophie as names too :P)
