My kitten is healthy and active but few days ago i found something that looked more like a wound on his upper lip and i thought that the little birds i have attacked him after attacking their cage. The thing is this red wound turned into a black thing which looks more like soil. Now it appeared on his nose and other lip. I think it's even spreading on his lower lip. He doesn't seem to be itching or anything except that i think he seems a bit lazy now. .

What does this mean?

This may sound funny so let me explain... It was love at first sniff. I have a great, strong & beautiful dog! I have known him for many years & have been his proud "mommy" for about a year & a half. I am always trying to do what is best for him and he is now 7 1/2 at about 80lbs. He loves to take me for runs, beach trips, going to work with roommates & always down to hang with his pals at the park. I have noticed a bit of a "beer belly" so to speak, appearing on him. I have also noticed his really icky gas. I know that boxers are known for their gas... but come on. It is so bad his fumes wake me from a dead sleep & you know it's bad when he wakes up lookin at his rear like he just heard the "knocking at door" sound coming from his rear.

Don't get me wrong, Zeus & I are doing very well; I would like to make sure that things keep going that way for a long time.

My vet was thinking maybe we kicked my dog. It was a bit offensive but I explained the whole thing. Later I thought I might want to call to validate the deer did it. Would you just find a new vet or clear the air, again? (She said when I left...a purposeful stop out as i was leaving..."it's just so odd she could get that close to a deer that wasn't tame". I said "we feed deer off our deck daily". She said "o" and that was that. But I think she thinks we are abusers now and I feel odd going back. Your thoughts?

i had my tank for a while and everytime i would get fishes they would die so i ened up getting tw goldfish hoping that would be easier to take care of but today i just saw some white dots on them i knw its a dieases. is there a way to cure it i cant see another one of my fishes die again !

I bought a used 10 gallon tank and it only has 1 bulb (theres room for another) and I think it is 15 watt. I already have a heater preset to 76-80 degrees, should be 78 exactly. Will the light bulb harm my fish? how long should I leave it on?
I also have another 10 gallon tank that has a UV/Florescent light bulb, will that harm my male guppy? They also have a heater at 78.

I have a very sweet loving grey 7 yr old cat.Over the years I have tried to introduce other cats into the home with the one an adult male who was fixed .She was hateful to him till he left.The last was an adorable orange baby I was hoping she might adopt.She hissed at him until he ran off and hid in my moms room.In the end I felt it wouldnt work so I gave the little stray to a neighbor.Is there any way to change this?She is always wanting attention and we give it to her but as my mom said she is like an only child and if we had another cat it could be a playmate to her.We love cats and we see lots that need homes.It seems silly that we cannot have one more cat.I mean we have the room.Our cat acts so jealous.I mean she was mad when we brought that kitten in.Is there any treatment for a jealous cat?

Recently, a cat killer in Singapore has been sentenced for a cruel act of torturing cats slowly and eventually killing them.

However, I and many others felt that his sentence is way too little and we need to step up on this.
