My kitten is healthy and active but few days ago i found something that looked more like a wound on his upper lip and i thought that the little birds i have attacked him after attacking their cage. The thing is this red wound turned into a black thing which looks more like soil. Now it appeared on his nose and other lip. I think it's even spreading on his lower lip. He doesn't seem to be itching or anything except that i think he seems a bit lazy now. .

What does this mean?

I don't know about cats, but humans can get impetigo from birds, and this sort of sounds like that. None the less, I think it means you need to take your kitten to the vet asap.

He may be infected with a harmful bacteria from the birds. You should take him to the vet

I doubt it is cancer, he's too young. It could be some kind of parasite, infection, etc. You must go to the vet immediately, before it expands more and threatens the poor kitty.

impetigo is what it sounds like! You did mean that it can be wiped away right but it keeps coming back right? If so then impetigo is what it is. hopping case closed check out the link listed as a source

It may be cancer, or the wound from the birds may be infected, or he could be allergic to something, take him to the vet, it could be serious.

Kitty needs a vet.

Would you go to the doctor if your face started falling off?

I've never seen anything like that on any of my cats. I would take him to the vet to make sure it isn't anything serious.

If he's being lazy it's probably because he isn't feeling well. You need to take your kitty to the vet without delay. Do it now please!
