We have a general rule that everyone in our house follows: no sweets, chocolates, processed or fatty foods. We add cooked rice and veggies to their food and for a little extra flavour we give them cooked chicken liver or hearts. Don't use salt or sugar when feeding dogs. Neither is good for them. Excessive salt and sugar could lead to anything from pancreatitus to kidney diseases.

This is going to depend on who you talk to. Each breeder and vet will vary. Some human foods actually can be toxic to your dog. Chocolate, salt, onions, macadamia nuts and grapes. They say not to feed table scrapes because they do not begin to provide the correct amounts of vitamins and minerals needed to prevent disease in your pet. They are way too high in protein, fat and salt.

Chocolate shouldn't be feed. It can kill them. Im not sure what the best food is. But they love it when you feed them chicken, beef, turkey. They love protein meals. Basically anything with a good source of protein is good for them, espeically if the dog is very active.

Chocolate because of the sugar in it. Every food with a lot of sugar is bad, it makes dogs blind.

chocolate will KILL dogs. Dark chocolate is more toxic than milk chocolate. Friend's dog died from cake he got. Their bodies can't filter it out. Ruins their kidneys. It's sad and lengthy death. It's like mercury in fish for people is bad for the same reason. It builds up and we can't ever get it out of us.

No chocolate or anything containing caffine, nothing high in sugar, no tomato leaves (they're toxic to us as well!!), no garlic, no pork (cooked or raw), no grapes, no table scraps, no cooked meats of any kind (empty calories).
Feed your dog a natural, balanced diet.

chocolate(doggy poison), fat, bones (choking hazard), honey(gives diarrea), sugars (dogs can get diabetes too), fruits(they can not process the sugars), processed foods, anything with alcohol, nuts, seasonings/spices, onions, garlic, dairy (gives gas n diarrea), no bird type animals, potatoes (to high of potassium)

Good things to give dogs, rice, eggs, lean ground beef drained, fully cooked red meats, liver and other organs,

Stick to lean and natural foods that are not going to upset your dogs stomach, his is more sensitive then ours.
